If I were to make suggestions on things look at… for sure the 6pt 1/4” chrome shallow and deep socket sets, the screwdrivers, the ratcheting screwdriver, the pick, the 3/8” shallow 6pt chrome, the combination wrenches, the 22mm ratcheting wrench…

You can see a lot of the part numbers in my picture.

I didn’t pull out all the sockets… but they look like Snap-on with different stamping.

Any particular reason/use for the 22mm ratcheting wrench? Just curious.
As for 1/4", not sure about you, but I don't even keep 1/4" in my cart. I've yet to use a single 1/4" socket at CAT.

No particular reason for the 22mm. I had up to 21mm on my cart… and it was there…

As far as 1/4” goes… I am an electrician, so my sockets for work are all 3/8” drive. At home, I use 1/4” most. I keep 1/4” in my main toolbox, my cart, on my workbench, and in my second stack, and I have “grab and go” sets.

The 1/4” shallow was about $46 to non-employees before they took the tools off parts.cat.com. I still think that it was a terrific deal.

The jack just arrived from UK, made in the EU and the seller had an awesome deal on it. The socket set arrived a bit ago and I really like them also shipped from the UK no issues.

I have an exhaust to swap on someone's car soon so that's why I picked them up. Fighting with the hangers ***** lol

Back the in the 90's, when I was younger, poorer, and information about quality tool brands (and where to buy them for a good price!) was not easy to come buy, I bought a $10 set of metric T-handles at the flea market. "Hexcraft" brand, made in China. Turns out they're just fine! Still, after all of these years, no problems at all. I've bought some Bondhus T-handles in SAE lately (from Harry Epstein's) but feel no need to upgrade those old Chinese ones.

(And this was back when an item being made in mainland China was kind of a surprise.)

New M12 Fuel Drill and Driver (foreground) vs. First Generation. Northern tool had the set on sale for $199.99 with a 4.0 and 2.0 battery, and I had a $20 off coupon, so I couldn't pass that up. I've had my first set since they came out, they've done a lot of hard work and are still going strong. I'll pass those on to my son.

Traded a broken Husky 25’ tape measure for a new one. The old one had a metal case and the new one is plastic. I will see how it holds up.

The mechanism that retracts the blade stopped working and left the blade hanging out about 8” and it was a struggle to extend and retract the blade.

1/4” dr Koken Nut Grip Sockets (8-14mm) and their double-wobble universal adapters in 1/4” and 3/8”. EZRed battery brush.

1/4” dr Matco 12mm impact swivel socket - this one was ordered a while ago and was on b/o, it finally came in.

Now my rail of “expensive 1/4” dr specialty bits” is finally complete:

I met up with the Snap On truck today and got my ratchet’s soft grip handle replaced. He charged me full list for the handle ($25) but he has a special tool that allows for replacement to be quite painless.

While I was there, I picked up his last pair of LN46ACF and the 40 deg brake pry bar. This prybar is just the right size (and bend) to be versatile for a lot of things. I also have a PFSXM917B in order.

Lastly, I had ordered a 14x1.5 tap/die (2 each) from Zoro. I received 2 dies but they shipped me a full 5 pack of the taps. 🤔

Alas, I'm over in the UK, so less common brands (and a lot of the Asian imported brands you have like koken and icon) are either not available, or insanely expensive with no warranty support. Luckily we still have snap on, facom and a ton of quality Asian importers.

Edit: I guess the bjp1 counts as 'imported' over here 😁
