I Got the rivet gun as an excuse to fix the soft close sliders on my box.Home depot price matched the lowest website I could find when I bought it for $189.I gave the manager the sob story about my slides being damaged when I bought the box and how I needed a rivet gun to fix it lol…super nice guy he hooked me up!…The duel battery leaf blower was wayyyy over kill for my carport and driveway BUT I had a Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket lol.I love having the right tool when you need it.It make things so much more enjoyable. I find excuses to tinker with things anymore.I Got the rivet gun as an excuse to fix the soft close sliders on my box.Home depot price matched the lowest website I could find when I bought it for $189.I gave the manager the sob story about my slides being damaged when I bought the box and how I needed a rivet gun to fix it lol…super nice guy he hooked me up!…The duel battery leaf blower was wayyyy over kill for my carport and driveway BUT I had a Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket lol.I love having the right tool when you need it.It make things so much more enjoyable. No it’s a power built shop stool.I got it because the height. It goes really high to match the height of the Milwaukee workbench because it’s taller than normal and because it was red lol. With that said though I don’t like it.It needs a foot ring around the base because it goes up so high and the seat isn’t comfortable but it rolls good and it’s red so here I am with a pretty chair that ***** to sit in lol.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081TGLLRK/?tag=atomicindus08-20I had been blowing my work area/driveway with a compressed air hose, or a corded leaf blower. I felt bad when I ordered a DeWalt cordless blower. Do I really need this? Is this just hedonism?
That didn't last long. Awesome thing to have! Sometimes I even use it for yard work!
I don't recognize that logo... is your stool not Milwaukee?

If it makes you feel any better, I tried the HF ones and did not like them.Got myself some more garden hose quick connects. I hadn't known about them until I found GJ, and at the time, the advice I could find here, by a respected poster, was to pay once/cry once/just get A.M. Leonard. Well I did, and they have been very good. The price hurt, and getting more has always been painful because not only do they cost, the shipping charge has consistently been painful, too.
Luckily, I heard about a free shipping situation lately (with no minimum purchase!), so that helped a lot. Here is a code for you all:
Made in Taiwan, the small, capitalist China. Alas, this subtotal was over $50.
They are a neat company and they are not screwing around; everything in their thick catalog is oriented towards professional gardening/horticultural/landscaping/groundskeeper/arborist types.
BUT... I saw this at the HF website the other day and nearly cried. Wasn't an option when I started out. I have no idea what interchanges with what, and doubt most brands play well with others. I'd recommend starting off cheap and seeing how it works out! On the other hand, the stuff I got has been perfect.

(This was in response to the beta pliers)
I have had really good luck with the gorilla brand ones on Amazon. I did have to replace some orings this year but they stay outside year round and I have had them for over 3 years now.Got myself some more garden hose quick connects. it looks like the fat head one. I really wanted a slim head extended but hadn't come out yet. Would've had to buy a slim 1/4 and modify it to make it work.
I love totes/caddys and wanted a new one last year, and it turned into a project! The previous one, I had picked up at Wal-Mart, Sterilite brand. Well, you might know what a zoo their plastic tote/storage aisle can be, and I could not find one there again after a few visits. I forget if I went to a big box hardware store, I often don't. I think this time I did, and still couldn't find one.
Started looking for Rubbermaid and even they wanted to make something special and fancy with big curved holders for detailers'/janitors' spray bottles.
I finally found a straightforward, low cost, but not cheaply constructed (although I can go with cheap for this kind of thing) Akro-Mills on Amazon:
Thanks. I have never heard of them before. They look very handy. Here's a video showing them in action.
Some handymen use them to drive pins out of door hinges, too.

Is there a slim head 3/8 drive extended out now that I missed? I'll return this for that if so!it looks like the fat head one. I really wanted a slim head extended but hadn't come out yet. Would've had to buy a slim 1/4 and modify it to make it work.

Yep. Might have even been 3 months, I lost track. Fastest warranty I ever got from them (not on a truck). The last screwdriver was 7 months. If I send something back to MAC, I usually just forget about it and if it ever comes, its a surprise.A couple of MONTHS? Wow.
Neat! I had no idea Skilkraft was making that sort of thing.
Wikipedia entry includes this sentence: "In 2015, Skilcraft introduced a new line of products which included screwdrivers and socket wrenches."

Skilcraft - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
Introductory paragraph:
"Skilcraft, often stylized as SKILCRAFT, is the registered trade name of the National Industries for the Blind (NIB).[1] Products made by Skilcraft are created largely by visually impaired or severely disabled individuals. Products bearing the Skilcraft brand are commonly used in United States federal government institutions, including the United States Postal Service. They are also commonly sold in U.S. military base exchanges and commissaries."

Well shoot. Thanks for sharing. It looks like the slim head one has a lower torque output, but I don’t use it for breaking bolts free, so I think the trade off is a good one to make.
I’ll probably return this one in exchange for that, thank you!
