Did yours come topped off with fluid? Mine was quite low. The box I bought did not appear to be a return. I am just curious if these jacks usually come with the right amount of fluid. I topped it off, and it works great, but I just found it strange.
They warrantied my long reach 1/4 drive M12 ratchet I bought from him onceIt's just an FYI. Take it up with Milwaukee.
So maybe you shouldn't give them your money? Just thinking aloud. The Pittsburgh hydraulic ram I bought a coupla weeks ago probably was also low on fluid, because a lot of it was all over the outside of the unit while it was still wrapped in it shipping plastic. It's so irritating to have product with poor or absent QC, coming from a nation that's welcoming to our money but otherwise hostile to us, and branded with the name of an American city that had formerly been an industrial powerhouse. I guess I should go open up the package on the replacement ram to see if it's a leaker also.
It annoys me that they don't offer all the colors on the website. I would love the hi-viz yellow ones but don't have access to a snap-on truck and will not pay the markup that some ebay sellers want.

I never trust the factory fluid anyway - I always bleed the jack.Did yours come topped off with fluid? Mine was quite low. The box I bought did not appear to be a return. STP hydraulic jack oil. I just topped it off with that. The manual called for 22 viscosity oil or something.....I just put the STP hydraulic jack oil I had in the garage in it. Works great and doesn't feel spongy.I bought one on Saturday. Still in the box.
I’m sure I can figure it out, but I’ll still ask: what fluid do you use in the jack?

If you can point me toward a made-in-USA alternative that isn't triple the price, I'll gladly do that.So maybe you shouldn't give them your money? Just thinking aloud.

Funny shade of orange.
Thats a good find. Kent Moore used to make a ton of "dealer only" or "special tools" for the big 3. Over the years they have been over taken by Snap on. Thats a heck of a nice looking goat there!
But is it made in USA ?Got this free hat! No strings attached!![]()
