you'd have to ask these guysI have also wondered about Toyota pickup truck sales in Tacoma, WA.
All I can tell you is that it's a major point of entry for imported vehicles from Asia.

233-1639What is the part number for the pliers set?
So did you manage to open that can of cranberry sauce?
Little confused by the CAT socket label, printed in USA? Not Made in USA . . .I went a little crazy on Black Friday
Got the Icon 3/8" Split Beam on 40% as part of their 12 days of Christmas. Also picked up the Gen2 M12 stubby from Acme Tools on a Cyber Monday deal as well as the Koken 1/4" drive zeal flex head. Still waiting on some more Koken tools that should ship sometime in January. Then I picked up 16mm and 18mm Wright Grip wrenches to fill a set of older Wright wrenches I have. Finally, some more CAT tools courtesy of Snap-On. Picked up the 3 piece pliers set, 1/4" drive deep well sockets, and a 15/16" 4-way wrench to tighten the camber arms on my E46.

Tekton sockets/wrenches are the cream of the crop. Lifetime NO BS warranty. Their master socket sets are 100% worth the money. I have 1/4 and 3/8 sets. Once you hit 1/2in though I'd want impact sockets only.Tekton 35mm socket.
I've been reading that people recomenend Tekton quite a bit as an affordable but decent wrench /socket maker.
Having recently acquired a 2009 Toyota Tacoma I'm busy making sure I have all tge size wrenches. Sockets etc hence the purchase of this 35mm socket. But now I want to fill in the gaps between 32 and the largest 1/2 socket in both 6 and 12 point, i think thats 38mm ? I only just finished with the gaps from 4mm to 32mm.
I haven't used this , but the forging/machining is pretty good for a measley $9. At 1st glance this comes across as a bargain.
Coo Taiwan
Nice, are they still made in Germany?

Arrrrggghhh, better get those rivets straight...I’ve been wanting one of these forever. And finally a project is happening with enough lead time to actually order one.
Uhhh.... What did I miss in the pic?Arrrrggghhh, better get those rivets straight...![]()
Need to keep a scan tool on current software, and the yearly 1150 from Snap On had me consider other options. This is the 1st scan tool bought outside offical automotive specialty channels. Hopefully the fact the topdon website and Amazon had identical sale pricing last week means I'll have no issue setting it up and getting on AutoAuth.
10" screen, good weight, and 2 years up software for ~$950.
Ive just always used 1/2 sockets unless space /size was a factor. I started trusting 3/8 to do heavier work when my gedore 1/2 set was stolen and I bought an ampro 3/8 set and that ratchet held up on numerous oil changes and brake jobs but then went back to 1/2 when I replaced the set after a few years.Tekton sockets/wrenches are the cream of the crop. it'd be great if you could start a separate thread on this and keep us posted on how well it works, any issues, how easy it is to use, what it does and doesn't do...
The Dowidats arrived today, the remind me very much of Gedores. If they didn't have Dowidat written on them I'd think they were Gedores. Some German and Taiwanese goodness.

Waiting for my Dowidat 6 pc 20-36mm offset wrenches to arrive, was hoping they'd arrive today but delayed by a day or 2. I was originally going to buy the 12 pc gedore set bit that wasn't in stock so I opted for the Stawhile set off amazon $85 and a Dowidat set off ebay. It pretty much ended up costing the same as the Gedore 12pc set would have so don't know if I was silly , but I do end up with an extra wrench in the form of a 30x36mm.
I went to use my Autel MK808Z today and it insisted that I buy another year's subscription for !!150!! I needed the diagnostic so I paid. But damn them for bricking my device. I did not need an update because my ride is 2019. Just putting this out there so ya"ll know.
Also, Authauth hit me up for another $50 for gateway bypass but I was expecting that.
Do you have aftermarket front axles? As a Toyota guy I haven’t run into needing a 35mm, but I’ve heard aftermarket front axles sometimes use a 35mm nut. OEMs are 36mm on 4Runners ad GXs. Maybe oem fronts on tacomas are 35mm? I didn’t have my tacoma long enough to break one so I don’t know.
Makes sense. I’m sure the axles are probably slightly smaller than the larger SUV models. I’ll have to keep one handy for offroad trips in case someone breaks one.I have two first gens. Both axle nuts are 35mm.
While I haven’t had any of the snap on hard handle screwdrivers, I feel like they’re a little larger than the snap on models would be. Same contour though and they seem like they’ll be comfortable, just a tad big.How do you like the Williams handles?
