I for one am stoked to/and see it as an investment in small businessLol.. it really is amazing how cheap it was and how much we the taxpayers paid for when new.
Now get that damn thing together and working. I wanna see our tax dollars hard at work

Was it a local government auction or something like Government Planet? That's a major U-****! Nice score PG![]()
Backed the two trailers into the current shop I'm building 5 minutes ago. Already got the "crew" together for Monday morning get ur done this upcoming week. It not a business, but will be a asset to our current business as we have a lot of equipment ( big iron) with a huge amount of tools and equipment including a metal fab shop. Now throw in the classic car/ hot rod thing it will definitely get some use. It was typical government way overkill for what they needed and the saaaaaaaftey word shut the whole thing down..I for one am stoked to/and see it as an investment in small business

It was gov surplus broken down by state. I have bought a large amount at auctions and other venues over the years and one can score some really good deals. It absolutely does not happen most of the time, but with patience watching and knowing the value of things one can do very well. Anything that is a really good deal ( auction or other wise) one has to make the decision to pull the trigger instantly in most cases or it will be gone. Cash is king. Was it a local government auction or something like Government Planet?

I'm on the lookout for that right angle die grinder. Twice in the last couple months, Home Depot had them for $154.00 with a free battery. Missed the boat both times, you had to be on top of it because the sale was over almost as soon as it started. Were you lucky enough to get in on that deal?Well these came in except for the additional 4 - 3amp batteries are MIA. At least this time it only took a half hour to get that one straight
And I’m told allllllll the rest of my order is there except the girl who helped me yesterday has made it clear NO ONE EXCEPT HER IS TO CONFIRM AND RELEASE THE ORDER….she’ll be back to work on Monday

Pro grade is the name so I'm going to assume it isn't pro grade.
I dunno. We used to buy Proto 'cause it had Pro right there in the name!My NOS $35 find , Pro grade 3/4 breaker bar and Ratchet.

I bought a small 4 pc set of E-Torx at OReilys for the motor mounts on a Ford Focus. Now working on a ‘14 Chevy Cruze 1.4 L Turbo and everything is E-Torx including the crank pulley bolt (a 14 or maybe a 15? mm works) and I’m thinking about a larger set now.
Thats actually the plan and why I bought these.Only one way to find out: Put a 6-foot iron cheater pipe on it and go break some stuff!

Oh, damn, I didn't even think about that. What a great use.My favorite tool for opening car windows when I worked for the FD.![]()
It sure was back in the 80's when rescue tools like the Jaws of Life were a pipe dream for most FD budgets. It was pretty easy to find pinch points to open a door with a Halogan Tool after the glass was out.Oh, damn, I didn't even think about that. What a great use.

I'm not proud of it, but I may or may not have used a pair of diagonal cutters on a small e-torx and gotten away with it in a pinch once.I bought a small 4 pc set of E-Torx at OReilys for the motor mounts on a Ford Focus. Welcome to the slippery slope... There is no turning back now.I'm in the Dewalt 20V camp, but when it came to nail guns, I had to stray...
Picked up an M18 16ga straight nailer with an 8Ah battery and charger...
As well as an M12 23ga pin nailer with a 4Ah battery and charger...
Now that the brand barrier has been broken, I sort of fear (and sort of hope) more red will follow.![]()
Nice!
Yep, I paid just over $24 after tax. Pull that trigger...Nice!
How much do these typically sell for?
I decided to sniff around and Amzn has 'em for like $20-ish, is that right?
Done.Yep, I paid just over $24 after tax. Pull that trigger...
The Harley website uses the name, but I'm not really sure either as Snap-On offers nothing similar which is a red flag.Definitely not Snap-on
The e-commerce intern should have typed SNAP IN not SNAP ON.Looks like Eazypower or Pratt-Read
