Mine arrived yesterday, I saw those in one of the thread here about tool organization and liked that one could set the spacing to what ever is needed, making it neat and offering space savings. Tried them out with my PB Swiss screwdrivers and the 3/8 extensions, I really like these, they are offering a 15% savings ending today on their web site, I will be ordering more of these today.

It may be cost or space-saving, if I had to guess. My wife's Equinox has one built-in screen that seems to do everything but HVAC. Navigation, back-up camera, and entertainment. I don't drive it enough to get used to its controls, so I hate it.

I'm pretty sure you can get a dedicated rear camera, try an RV dealership. They're very common, especially on motorhomes with no rear windows.

I guess another idea would be to buy a third-party backup camera, but run the control wire to a manual switch (instead of tying it into the vehicle's wiring). There must be a control wire so it knows when the vehicle is in reverse. Possibly designed to be tied into the reverse lights circuit?

I tow as well (utility and boat trailers), and would LOVE a better view of what's happening with my trailers. Or more specifically, the loads and tie-downs...

It's a relatively new thing for Wright to have the plastic cases. Was cheaper to get them in a case than separately on rails. For impacts they are only 1/2 drive so far.

Hyper Tough 4V Cordless Screwdriver. At just over $12, it's actually pretty good.

Kind of gutless, but I intentionally bought it for stuff that would be wrecked with a drill or impact, but was tedious for screwing in by hand. Not variable speed, however.

It's also much smaller and lighter than even my 12V drills with their smallest batteries.

I've used it to take the back off my 3D printer to replace the LCD cable (again...) as well as fix the vacuum cleaner belt (again...). Much faster than using a hand screwdriver, and no wrist strain.

PS: I tossed the chrome bits it came with. They were garbage. Thus, the Wiha bit.

I will be getting Vessel's here pretty soon (and maybe the Hart--rebranded Ryobi), but at the price, these are cheap enough to keep everywhere.

Of course I would need a swivel and extension. I knew the swivel would be pin retention but the extension is just a regular ball.

I've heard so many good things about Wright tools, but have yet to add any to my toolbox. I find their website to be maddeningly terrible, extremely difficult to decipher exactly what is and is not in any given set, or what part number to look for if I want a set.

Best I can figure, that is 4667-MC, and is a metric-only set of regular and deep, 10-24 no skips then 27mm?

And I see pricing on that set ranging from $450 to $750? A crazy price range...

Correct on the socket sizes. They make the 25mm and 26mm in shallow but not in deep which is probably why they weren't included. If you step up to 3/4 drive then they have all the sizes including 12pt.

I've found Summit Racing has the best pricing but they generally only carry the sets. If you need just individual pieces then HJE has the best selection. I looked at Koken but Wright was cheaper even ordering from the US.

In canada, I've only found that Grainger is a online dealer but they only carry the 3/4 and 1 drive stuff.

Escalades have a full time rear view camera displayed in their rear view mirror. They have a front view camera displayed in their instrument cluster. You know where the speedometer has been on cars for 100 years until recently.

OOPS, my bad camera is wireless, not bluetooth, This is the unit, magnet holds onto tailgate of truck and video is on at the flick of a switch.

My first Wright purchase was a long time ago, from a car accessories catalog far away. (Imparts in St. Louis.)

I ordered this oil drain plug repair kit after seeing it on the toolbox tour when he was checking out Schrodinger's box tools. I saw a different brand kit in the video and I did a DiCaprio whistle and point to the screen lol.

The mailman dropped off a DeWalt DXMA1310849 USB charging block today. After dinner, my best friend came over to give me something. He had gone down to his brother’s in Chattanooga over the Labor Day weekend and went to a garage sale a few doors down from his brother’s house. He found a very slightly used Klein 21051 2/0-250 MCM wire stripper for $5! He actually had no idea what it even was until the guy he bought it from told him. He knows that I like Klein tools and figured he’d get it for me. He didn’t know whether or not I already had one (I didn’t) or even if I wanted one (I did), but figured that he’d go ahead and get it since it was only $5. What a guy!

The TSA took my Knipex away
They took it away
Away from me-ee

I had 10" and 7" Cobras in my carry-on bag. (I told you I feel knaked without my Knipex!)

Not being a criminal or insane hijacker, I never thought of using my 10" Cobras to beat people up with. It was the usual Sophie's choice (uh, so to speak) of a TSA confiscation. Suuure you can go back out find the place to mail it to yourself and go through the line all over again, suure. My traveling companion is too anxious about travel deadlines for me to consider even trying that. Let's see, price of pliers, price of postage, that delta compared to risk of missing flight, yep, and the cost of having to hear it even if I don't miss the flight.

Bye bye, Cobras. Luckily I wasn't emotionally attached, I had only had them about two years. ;) They weren't the 10" Cobras that hooked me a decade-plus ago.

A different crew at a different airport got worried about the 7" Cobras on the return trip, told me they were just under the limit. FACOM Nano toolkit was fine.

I shopped many sources for Knipex. Wound up getting them from Amazon Germany, and with all the taxes and fees, $42.54. Considering that comfort grips generally add about $10, I'm very happy with this deal. (Tonight I find a new one on US ebay for about $2.50 more, that's a hot steaming deal and abby normal.)

The other big thrill of this Amazon Germany order was I found the Bosch compact saw that YesIHaveAHammer was taunting us with two months ago, and it was a Warehouse Deal at that. I couldn't find these for sale in US channels and also all of the similar competitors I found cost a lot and folded/stored just one blade.

This was $24.98 after all of the taxes and fees. Shipping took 11 days for both.

I took my 125mm knipex plier wrench on flights a few times, never even thought they'd take it. That said, they let me through with a medium sized swiss army knife a few times too, I think it is a bit more relaxed here in Europe.
