Beerhippie,I see it at least has a slot for a rip fence. I have no idea what the one I use on my Skil is from, as Skil doesn't come with one either--but they're common at yard sales, which is strange considering nothing seems to come with one....
I'll try to put together something this afternoon. I haven't tried it on chisels or plane irons yet--those are where a tool rest of some sort would be really nice, so I may have to make one.Beerhippie,
My father’s 6 1/2” Craftsman came with one. He most likely purchased it after they bought the house in 1956. I have never seen another new saw delivered with that accessory. .
Probably the people purchasing these toss them in a drawer for their descendants to harvest them for yard sales.
I’d be interested on a thread about your knife sharpening journey. Have you tried it on any chisels yet?

I always hung my leaky grease gun over the side of the trash can. It came up missing so I assumed it went out with the trash. I replaced it with this gun and bought this holder that catches the drips.

Ok I give…GJ rubiks cube?
What does it turn back? Time? If so, I want one!I used to have a turn back tool like that. I haven’t seen it in a couple decades.
I got one of the old style Harbor Freight turn back sets, about twenty five years ago, that I have been using since then.
Brake calipers. Those cubes were the common way to do it back in the day. You can find those in most older people’s toolboxes. What does it turn back? Time? If so, I want one!
Rear brake caliper pistons on calipers that have a mechanical parking brake operating on them. They have a screw thread on the pistons that keeps them from being pushed back. There are oodles of different required pin patterns for the spanner. The cube gets most of them. Cars with electric parking brakes can often be asked to retract them for you with a scan tool. What does it turn back? Time? If so, I want one!

Easy now, I'm not that old.Brake calipers. Those cubes were the common way to do it back in the day. You can find those in most older people’s toolboxes.

And I'm too old....Easy now, I'm not that old.![]()
That’s what I used the first time I encountered them. Didn’t know a special tool existed.Nah, I'll just stick with needle-nose pliers...

Them Vessels are right purty!
Are those handles marbled? Or a reflection? Full tang I assume since they have a striking cap.

Flying parts are not always a good time.I don't have a picture of the actual one is it's in my toolbox, but I picked this up this morning and wish I would have had one decades ago. The rubber o-ring keeps it from slipping while rotating and the magnets hold the cap and the spring so they don't fall out. A little pricey but for the frustration that it saved already worth every penny.![]()
You mean like the "Jesus clip" that just went ping over somewhere toward that corner of the shop?Flying parts are not always a good time.

Or was it over there? You mean like the "Jesus clip" that just went ping over somewhere toward that corner of the shop?

Maybe over here by the garbage can....Or was it over there?
I also had to add a few hundred pounds of suitcase weights to the front of my tractor, this cutter was making the front a little light.
I will say though, quick hitch compatible is used loosely. These two pieces for so tight, that if you do not line it up perfectly, it will not fit.
Its probably just the picture. It looks square just the distance between the hooks on the quick hitch and the pin mounts on the bush hog are just way too close. I think a Cat 2 quick hitch is jn my future. Is that ear squarely mounted? It's very hard to tell from that picture, but it looks bent in.
