Klein LAN Scout® Jr. 2 ethernet cable tester VDV526-200
On its own, it verifies the cable and displays the detail of any fault/mistake. It can also generate tones for tracing cables with a separately available probe. The short patch cables were separate, essential for testing installed sockets end to end. The range includes one more basic and two more advanced ones.

Filling out more of that partial set I got cheap.

That little retractable scraper is my favorite out here in the Wide World of Trucking. I use it to scrape off adhesive HazMat placards. It works great. I need to buy a few more in case they ever discontinue them. I wish I knew who the OEM is.

Everything about Facom wrenches just strikes me as quality. I'm a big fan of them.

Had to pick up some new icon stuff while on sale
Used Snap-on EEPV508 transmission and engine pressure set
Unused 2nd hand Blue-point (RIDGID) E1025 extractor set. Only paid 55 euros compared to the silly list price of $1220.
Used Snapon sockets:
- 208EFAY SAE standard hex bit socket set
- 206EFABL SAE long ball hex bit socket set
-206EFAL SAE long hex bit socket set

-Older 9-piece BEXD deep extractor socket set

I use lots of cutting oil when I use them. They never rust. I blow the swarf off before putting them away.

I keep an oily old 1" HF chip brush with my taps and dies to brush them off before putting them away.

I just got my USA made Irwin tap & die set from Menards.
I also got this set of press and pull sleeve. Made pressing in bushings a breeze for my suburban
I also got a couple fluid extractors. The Four Uncles pneumatic/manual makes changing ATF a lot less messy. I just used this week to drop the pan on my OBS C1500, so much quicker and easier, but mainly no mess. If you don't have one get one.
The OMT fluid extractor will be great when changing brake and P/S fluid.

I passed on the Icon sets this weekend at 20% off. Unfortunately actual USA made kits are ceasing to exist and in a hurry.
Did Irwin discontinue them? Norseman makes sets in the US, though they are more expensive.

For anyone considering those Irwin sets, the taps and dies are made in USA with global materials and drive tools are made in China.
Weekend Marketplace score! Guy across town listed this like new Sears/Craftsman 3 tier tool box w/ keys and I jumped on it immediately. I cleaned it up, put a coat of wax on it and cut some new drawer liners. Less than $400 total invested.

Some chinese equipment for the workshop: a remote control for my dust extractor and a work light. First impression of the lamp is good. The brightest setting is ridiculously bright, I dont know what to use that for. But a nice handy lamp with magnets and two hooks for hanging. It also has threading for a tripod.

Got a small order in from HJE today, I was needing some larger screwdrivers and Martin provided them. While i was ordering I picked up the Marin slip joints and Wilde pocket screwdriver off my wishlist. The metal bumping book was a “mystery box.”

Nothing yet, just the cube to see if it matched Milwaukee Red. I need to make some organizational things. I'll check the usual places and find something that works for me or modify it if need be.

I went to a regular on FB market place that I buy from.
He had 2 buckets filled with sockets.
He was basically , take a hand full and call it a couple of $. He looked tired , I was tired so I just asked " how much for the buckets " to which he said , Eh , $35 for the pair so I took both buckets.
In amongst the sockets , there are Hex drive sockets , some deep and shallow 1/2 and 1/4 drive sockets.
What was in there that is never seen before in the wild , a 6.3mm deep socket( pictured below ).
