This great little Wera set came earlier this week from GJ member Slip jointed. Great seller and quick shipping! The 2 Cornwell ratchets arrived from GJ member sumner52000. Super guy and bulletproof packaging! This guy went above and beyond! He saw I was looking for a way to get some Cornwell 72 tooth chrome goodness and offered to take time out of his life and pick me up what I needed from his Cornwell guy and ship it to me! Can't thank him enough for his actions....top drawer!
I have to say, though I do love using my SO dual 80s, I'm quickly finding myself drawn to the offerings of other tool companies. Those Cornwells are not only nice to look at but they're a super smooth and comfortable unit as well. The little Wera is an amazing little tool also. I had heard that they were just over- engineered and awkward to use but I find that isn't the case. In fact, the little extras that this thing has makes it more versatile. That little set has found a new home in the glove compartment of my VW. German tools for a German car!
Well enough of my babbling, here's a pic....

I've been looking for those exact wrenches since SK discontinued them. Where did you pick them up from? I needs them!

Just about every tech at our honda shop has them and say nothing but good things about them. a lot of them use them for tight spaces and alignments. My first impression when i saw them , was very nice finish, no chrome spotting or any defects, smooth ratcheting, and a very nice foam case.

The model number for the set I got is # EZRRM6

Got this instinct set from GJ member Wchamberlain. As always, awesome guy and great packaging. I had always shied away from the instincts for some reason or another so I figured I'd start quoth a small set to see if I liked them. I have to say, I'm a little impressed! I may have to pick up some different sizes!

Thanks to a certain GJ and GG member i am now the proud owner of a set of Bonney made matco wrenches! I have heard great things about these wrenches....and all of them are true! They look great and feel great too! Now just have to accumulate the rest of the bunch to have a complete set!

So I got these for $1 each and a little extra for tax or whatever... hidden clearance items can be great! These are probably the best quality rubber mallets I have found... USA made with a street price of about $13-$18 each. (even at that price its a good deal - they last a VERY long time and hold up much better than the cheap stuff... I know this from personal experience. So do I ****? :)

I was looking at those today at HD after deciding yesterday that I couldn't stomach buying one from HF. Even at $13 or whatever, they seem like a good deal. Where'd you find them?

I just bought a craftsman plastic truck box which I really like, along with a 7 piece set of Klein Hollow Shaft Nut Drivers which I have been wanting for a while but didn't get until now. In my opinion they are best domestically made nut drivers available. I have considered sets from Wiha and Felo (germany) which also look good but I ended up going with the Kleins. One of my favorite things about them is now nicely the sizes are marked on the driver ends, it makes it really easy to pick the right size when they are in a tool bag/belt/pouch etc. I might end up getting a set of the Wiha or felo in the future to keep at home but for now I am happy with this set :)

P.S. The pic makes the handles look a little dirty but that's just what happens with a decent camera and rubber grips haha.

How do you like the Miller 252? I have been looking at some of the Millers in that size. Any complaints?

I have only played with it a bit since getting it, but it is leaps and bounds above my old full size 210. The big difference is the fact that it is digital and can be dialed in with a very fine tune. I have .030 wire in it and most of my fab is .120 wall 4130 and some 3/14" and 1/4" plate, so basically this machine is far more then i would ever need, but i am not complaining.
Basically, i am very happy to have a brand new to me 252. I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Very nice additions Sarel! Specially the NWS pliers.

Did you get them from RS? Did you see they now stock Stahlwille as well. I got me some nice sockets. Next on my list is the ratcheting wrenches.

Got myself a Matco 15" 1/2" Ratchet. CFR158T. A Couple of pics including with it next to my Armstrong Maxx Locking flex 18". The 15" seems to be a good balance for 1/2". I have 10" that seem to short and the 18" armstrong works well for leverage but wanted something in between.
