Well the snap on truck got me again for the first time in a long time I had my bill down to 0! But that didn't last. I got the radiator pick set and small torx set I know they don't match but I really need the pick set if it bothers me that much I will get new handles.

i got a bunch of stuff from matco today, but never took pictures of my tools....

new swivel impact sockets, 5 piece hammer set up to 40oz, tampered torx driver set, new mini mag light, locking flex head 24" ratchet, and mac 12 point metric impact sockets

also loaded up my new mac box from the house to transport to work since i have ran out of room long ago in my box at work

There is ALOT of nice tools and garages on this site, yall have great taste in tools, nice to see so many people who take their tools and "made in USA" seriously

got a part number for the extension set?
206afxwppk I think but it was one of those deals the dealer had to order at the conference at the beginning of the year.

Damn, are those wobbles plus? Glad I didn't catch up with him today. What did the set run? I got the 3/8 and 1/2 in the $99 deals last year. Just the regular set.

Guess I know what i'm doing tomorrow afternoon
Yup wobbles plus. I got the 1/2in set on the $99 deal last year and love them. It was $165

Got tired of bringing my home tools to work all the time. When I needed something...it was either at home or at work, so I put me together a work tool bag! I am not typically a Husky Tools fan, but this bag is awesome quality and fairly cheap. Hopefully, TSA will be nice to it when It flies with me on trips...

If you are trying to carry on the bag, you will have problems with tsa. Checked in in a suitcase. No problems.

One might no load vs underload

makita and dewalt 12V are the same thing, rated at 12V, under load 10.8V

Well, 5 3.6v li/ion cells would be 18v, 6 would be 21.6v... ??? Not quite sure why hilti's calling this 18 - and dewalts calling theirs 20max...

Its all advertising, 20V MAX sounds better, please check the link

http://www.dewalt.com/20vmax

read the bottom with the *

With respect to 12V MAX*: Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 12 volts. Nominal voltage is 10.8.

With respect to 20V MAX*:Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.

mlittle, Nice pack! I have a large CLC pack with my Emergency AC testers & tools worth bucks. I did see HD out here is re-setting their tool isles and have a nice Husky pack like yours and metal pipe handle. Would make nice mtb's (mobile tool bag).

Received a new SK 3/8 ratchet today, opened it up and it was bone dry, no grease or lube. What's up with that. Gave it spot of red lube of love, put it back together and it was good to go.

Made in China? $80 doesnt sound like much of a bargain for chinese air tools. The HF models are actually pretty stout and run something like $12.

Picked this up today

magnet is lifetime warranty even if I break the head off. Considering I've broken 6 already, it's worth the $92 I paid for the set.

Can't find a date on it, but it's an old Stanley Bailey No. 6. Gotta clean it up a bit, but should do well for me to plane down some boards.

The UPS man brought me a package from tool warehouse today. SK sure grip 10 piece screwdriver set, SK comfort grip 4 piece stubby set and SK 5 piece plier set. I like the feel of the grips on the 4 piece set and I think will be the go to screwdrivers for stuff around the house. I only added the plier set to put the invoice over 99.00 for the free shipping. I already have those pliers which I bought individually 30 years ago. The slip joint pliers and the channel lock pliers used to be all chrome which I like much better. But doing my part to help support SK even just a little bit at a time.

It was a good week for tools.
Nupla 12 0z ball peen from amazon for $7.50, good score i think.
sk 3/8 ratchet from amazon. Not a high tooth count ratchet, but they are true work horses.
sk metric flare nut set and sk short metric wrench set from tooltopia
and lastly a fractional flare nut set NOS Bonney from Harry Epsteins.

I have come down with a bit of a Bonney addiction lately, all from epsteins and i feel that Bonney stuff is under estimated for its quality, it is all top notch.

this weeks truck purchases, Still waiting on a few things to come in

Snap On pisses me off that they do not include the 21mm semi deep 3/8" impact socket in the full set with only 8-19mm
