My recent additions today.
Love the flex head hard handle 1/4"!
Going to swap the handle out on my 3/8" round head

The wrench set I got from Ebay....wanted one for a while and couldn't pass up the deal i got....Small imperfection on the 14/15mm but they all look like they weren't used very much!

This is the exact handle swap I've been thinking about, looks good

Is the swap as straightforward as I've read? Any advise?

Wiha was my choice after testing many drivers . I like the soft grip fits my hand very well and tips are second to none. Soft grip torx/screwdrivers/nut drivers and bit system. The all black are heavy duty hard handle with bolster and steel cap. Picked those up at 50 percent off.

Easy to do. Make sure the drill bit to drill the handle is a hair smaller then the ratchet. I had to cut about 3/8" off the bottom of the ratchet so it wouldn't go too deep in the handle I used.

My go to ratchet now, love it!

Nice tools guys! How much do the handles cost? Wouldn't work on my flat handled Snappy though, maybe dip it? Not!

No 17 makes little sense. With metric having 10-19mm makes for a good set, skipping 17 and 19 makes little sense. 16 is not used as much.

Loads of 16 and some 18 on my beemer, no 17 other than the wheel lugs as far as I can remember.

So it makes sense to have all of them, you never know when you need it.

That's awesome. And a hell of a deal on that set!

I think there pretty rare. I never seen an old pink hard handle screwdriver set. I thought they only had the ratchting screwdriver the mini screwdriver, torx, and picks. this pink is not as brite like the mini's or the ratchting screwdriver. It's almost like a violet color.

50 bucks?! I hate you! lol
I actually am watching some screwdrivers on ebay that are listed as violet, they look to be the same color as yours.

My first Snap-On ratcheting driver.

Honestly though, my Craftsman ratcheting driver seems just as smooth as this one.

You have the all red Craftsman ratcheting screwdriver? That's the one I have and I agree, they feel like they have the same number of teeth. But I can say for sure that after using them for a long time the Snap On feels more solid. But the Craftsman one is great too, definitely a nice deal. I think I paid $20 for it a few years ago.

Yes, the red one.

I don't even remember how many years ago I bought this thing, it has been my go to screwdriver for a long time, still is silky smooth.

Never felt I was missing out on not having the Snap-On, but finally broke down and ordered one.

The Snap-On is a nice driver, but it cost close to three times the $20 I paid for the Craftsman.

ETA: I see the Craftsman is down to $16 now, I will have to pick up one or two more.

I guess mine is still pretty good, I think my mind plays tricks with me and my Snap On tools. I just pulled it out and the mechanism still feels really nice. It's definitely a great deal for a ratcheting screwdriver. I would even say it's a little more comfortable than the Snap On handle. My only slight, and it's petty, complaint is that the direction selector might be a tiny bit more finicky than the Snap On selector. Honestly, I would be happy with either and the price difference between the two models when new is not really justified. I got my Snap On one for just $35 so I'm OK with it.

So are these considered violet or pink?

I'd consider them more pink than purple but they're certainly a different shade from the normal hot pink colored ones. I think the violet ones are a deeper purple, a little lighter shade than snap on's purple toolboxes. Geez, I sound a little girly talking about these pretty colors ....

Yes they look differently for sure when different light sources. And to some as we all know we see things differently, it is pink others purple, lavender. I have had 2 true violet tools in my life. Both were picks. I have seen about 15 true violet tools in my lifetime. All were either picks or drivers. And they would not sell them. Snap on retired reps. They all had V in stock #'s. Any one ever see any Pink dead blows? I have seen 2 beat to chit ones that is it.

Drove down to Buffalo today to pick up a matco ratchet. Ended up going to HF and grabbing 2 impact socket sets. On my way out I was going to head to sears, then I saw a snap on truck. Hopped on and grabbed a small prybar. Asked the guy if he had a t-shirt or hat to toss in, he was going to give me a streamlight hat, I said to him that aint snap on. So he gave me a choice of etiher a camo or red diecast. Took the red and left. Didnt even bother with sears after that.

Very happy.

Also I asked him about the CAT1200, he told me that the snap on guys cant give em out and are actually returning them because of a copyright infringement.

Lavender...that's the color my wife said she thought they were. I have seen some purple/violet ones but it was back a while and I can't recall exactly what shade they were. Just thought "oh... purple tools...that's different" and headed on my way. If I'd had known I could now get a mortgage payment or 2 out of a set I'd have bought all I could find!
Can't say I've ever seen a snap on pink dead Blow though. I have a couple of blue ones and I thought they were odd enough!

That is one bad A$$ looking piece of vise goodness you have. I also like how the seller packaged that. Great to see I am not the only one who uses wood to package metal!
