Snap-On had a neat long, thin 1/4" drive flex head ratchet that looks like it will be a big advantage to getting into some tight areas.

Hi
Have you a snap-on number for the 1/4 ratchet, can not find it on there site.

is it 1/4 sd & 1/4 hex for bits

thanks jeff

I believe that's an EZ Red not a Snap On. Just happened to get it off the SO truck. Still pretty neat.

Yes it has a 1/4" square drive on one end and accepts 1/4" bits on the other. The one thing I really liked about the socket end is that it has the pin and locking ball that retains the sockets. In some of those tight spots I always seem to get nervous that the socket will fall off and be lost into a dark hole somewhere on the customers vehicle. Not so with this style. That coupled with the flex head and long slender body is what drew me to it.

It is not made by Snap-On, it has EXRed on the body but our Snap-On dealer is selling them.

Mike.

Got this little bad *** light today. Its my first streamlight. I really like how small and compact it is, not to mention bright! Ill get a picture of it with my other lights for the show your flashlights thread.

Oh no! You dipped your toes in the streamlight pool. Watch out or before you know it you will swimming in them. I bought a streamlight 5 years ago now I can't buy any other brand.

Harbor Freight 20 ton press. Still on the truck cause I got no room for it but couldn't pass up the $149 price. Prob the last year for that low price. I got to do some major organizing cause even my parts washer is sitting outside in the driveway.

1st, I went to Sears.... Check your local stores! Found this marked for $15, rang up for $5!

...then went to 3 other sear's looking for more, and didn't. snagged some more grinding wheels and buffing compound on the cheap though.

...then visited my new favorite store, and snagged this pile of old goodness:

No I haven't used it yet. I was gonna build one similar to it but for $70shipped, it already giving me a good ground for mod.

Yeah, you're right, that plate will have to go or reinforced but that's gonna be in awhile. Got all the parts for my 705 setup but waiting for a weekend to get started.

interesting, have you used it yet? how is it holding up?

seems like main weak points are those plates not being fully welded.

Epstein's bends over backwards for their customers. Special orders, no problem. They even draw custom artwork on your box if you ask! They are a great group of people dedicated to selling US made tools at reasonable prices!!

This is the first time I ordered from them. Things look promising though since I placed the order online at just before 10am and got a UPS shipping email saying it shipped out at 4pm on the same day. Can't beat that for service. I'll know on Tuesday when my order gets here if they got it all correct and packaged well.

My new Husky spline wrenches SAE/Metric in regular and ratcheting. The deal was too good to pass up-$8 bucks a set-. I've used the 15mm, and I gotta say I'm really impressed with the way it both works and feels. And one of the Husky socket sets I bought-again a good deal at 9 bucks.

Thanks! I was wondering about the protective boots....do they come with the standard kit? I just grabbed the bag with the impact, batteries and charger out of the box and left the truck with that as I was in a bit of a rush. Was just thinking they may still be in the box on the truck?

but yes, that brake is no joke. and the torque for a cordless is crazy!

New Thexton air hammer bit holder. Haven't really used it yet...

traded in my red scrapers for green, and got a 20mm impact to fill a gap...

e-z red kiwi pliers

Love mine. But I found the foam holder to be a PITA and took up needed space. So I bent little holders from coat hanger to keep them shut for storage.
