I've got a similar Weber Grille. Suggestion: take the blue protective tape off the chrome on the doors ASAP. It's a nightmare to get off after the summer sun has beaten down on it for awhile.

Got a coupon in the mail yesterday for $10 off any one item at NAPA, so stopped in this morning to see what I could find.

Not great quality, but for their intended purpose, these should work fine for the $7.00 that I had to pay after the coupon: ATD 9 piece scraper, hook, & pick set.

I found quite a few new old stock tools at a local surplus store. They had boxes of Wiss USA metal cutting snips, Grayvik nail pullers, Husky USA 3/8" round head ratchets, and a few Ridgid self-adjusting pliers. They also had some Bahco 3/8" SAE socket sets (shallow & deep, 6pt & 12pt). I'll be upgrading the Husky ratchets with dual pawl mechanisms soon (thanks crankshaftdan II). If you're interested in anything, feel free to PM me.

I picked this up at the outlet store. $8.88
It seems very good quality. From what I read on this forum GearWrench is somewhat a good China tool.

That set is China and not Taiwan? I've been happy that so far all my GW purchases have been Taiwan (Ratchets, ratcheting wrenches, wobble extensions).

I bought one of these a week ago and have been disapointed with it. It never seems to hold its position and the edges of the jaws like to drag on the bolt head when in use.

Chris

Wow. I love mine and use it often. Maybe you got a bad one. This is the best adjustable I have ever used. Made in Spain.

Unexpectedly scored a dozen 6" and 4.5" Kant twist clamps for free at work after one of our field service engineers failed his audit and his equipment all got sent back into our lab

And my fll80 arrived in the mail the other day, and even compared to my other snappy 936 ratchets, the difference is huge

I have a set of them and think they are excellent. Don't really use the big ones but I use the wee ones and the gasket scraper all the time. Couldn't live without them.

The steel in them actually seems to be right and good.

I picked up a Kreg Jig and C-Clamp from the store the other day. I've been wanting one of these for a long long time! I put it to use building a chest to house a litter box... surprisingly effective and fast.

The only problem I have is the holes want to force my 90-degree joint out of alignment by a few millimeters, so I have to slide my joint back just a bit to make it near perfect plane. Nothing sanding doesn't help, anyway.

You got a deal on those pins. I HAD to buy some the other day and paid a lot more. I couldn't even wait a day for Amazon. The good thing is that I got them at a local mom n pops hardware store.

That's weird because after I bought these I went to home depot and they had them for $13.

That is an amazing welder. We have some at work and some of the older versions and hands down that is one tough mig welder. I have made many Class 8 pintle hitches out of 1/2" plate with that welder. The 252 in my opinion is a must have in almost any shop.
