Love the handles

Did some price matching and binge buying. Lowe's Dewalt 4.5 cut wheels and Irwin/Do It Best vise grip sale, via the Hot Deals section.
I should have a 1/2" drive Craftsman flex head ratchet in the picture. Once I ordered it online and picked up at the store, my thoughts were confirmed, made in China. I took it directly to the registered and returned it.

So why do you not like Chinese craftsman ratchets but appearantly love Chinese vise grips?

I thought the same thing but didn't want to be an ***.Although to be fair there aren't any easily-accessible USA vise grips.
You wouldn't be an ***, it's an honest question, which I tried to answer above. Everyone may not agree but it's just my personal belief.
As far as the USA Vise Grips, they are hard to find and are one thing I look for at swap meets.
Grabbed these off of Ebay for a decent deal!

^^ Made in Spain... None the less, still a good tool from what I've read.
Is that the metric set you posted about in the hot deal thread? How long did it take to get them? Do you like them? Are the hex ends nicely finished? germany or Czech Republic? Can't resist, need to get those....![]()
Picked this up during the Made in the USA sale at Menards
Was it on sale?
Picked up some accessories for my angle grinder and a roll of solder.
3M Flap Discs (60 & 80 grit)
Love the handles
I think I'm going to start saving for a ratcheting KK27, I just want to try those handles, they look so nice.
Got new toy for my toybox. I loaned my BIL my tablesaw for a project he was working on and when he brought it back he said he had something that needed a good home. He said he was tired of tripping over this in his garage and wanted me to have it. Works great just needs to be cleaned up and best of all, FREE!
My biggest issue is when a company moves production overseas, gets it made for pennies on the dollar and the price stays the same. I avoid that stuff unless the price reflects the lower wages.
atwageman, those are very handy, especially for plumbing.![]()
