Great price!!! Where from?

Tylertool, it was $269.99 and there was a coupon showing up to 20% off! didn't quite get 20% but still a good deal with the big batteries...

It is reconditioned... 60 money back guarantee, 1 year warranty. I already rotated the tires on mine and the wife's car and it worked great!

The DeWalt looks kind of sad that it's getting replaced.

I picked up two NIB saws at an auction yesterday. Here are some stock photos:

Going in I knew these were European and very likely 230V, 50 Hz, but for the price I paid I was willing to take the risk. Best case scenario is I can retap the motor to 120V (unlikely), have to get 240V to the garage, or sell them to an international colleague that is returning to the Motherland. I don't know how or why these tools are here, but I have the packing slip and contact info of the guy they were sent to. Since we both work for the same company, maybe he will hook me up with some technical info

Matco. Picture didn't come out all that well, but I was out in the service truck most of the day and just had enough time to mount it together.

Beaumont KMG 2x72 belt grinder. It's in the shop. Too cold and wet to take a picture.

WOW, I hadn't heard of these grinders so I had to have a look at their website. Boy do they make some nice machines. Really well thought out designs with lots of versatility.

Home depot and they $85 for this one and they have a 3/8" like it $75. There is a post somewhere on here were a guy took pictures of it next to the Matco version and other than the rubber grip on it they are identical and so is the gearwrench and amrstong one. And it is made in USA.

That thing is badd ***! I want one because it's so freaking sweet.

I want 2 of them. I also really like the horizontal grinder they make. Better start saving, they aren't cheap, although they really aren't that far out of the price range of a Burr-King.

I've been using a Multitool http://www.vansantdistributing.com/Multitool_2x36_Belt_Grinder_Attachment_p/mt362.htm for years which is actually a really good grinder for the money, but boy would a Beaumont be a major upgrade to the shop.

I like that 2x36. The KMG isn't cheap but it costs a good deal less than a Burr King or Wilton. The KMG is more versatile too, IMO. Also, you can purchase the KMG piece by piece. Essentially, that's what I did.
