Yup. My guy had that deal 1-3 months ago, can't remember exact time frame.

Buy the torx set and the the E-Torx set for free. Was a smoking deal, but I already have both sets.

He has some left overs "buy x, get y free" deals from time to time, but most "killer deals" like that are gone by the time I see him the next week. He does pre signup for some deals. Every once and awhile those deals are gone before they actually get stocked on the truck!

My guy rarely goes longer than a month with out some kind of "killer deal". He had some fold out brochures I looked at yesterday. Had lots of good deals coming up. Unfortunately none of them were something I would personally need, have a use for or don't already own. :-/

The Snap-on guy I had years ago was a good guy, but never ran any "killer deals". Either he didn't participate or Snap-on wasn't doing those kind of deals back then.

It was buy the torx and get the inverted torx and extra long 3/8 80 tooth ratchet free. I just broke an old 3/8 proto breaker bar so that ratchet will take its place. Can't think of what else you could do with a 20 inch 3/8 ratchet besides try and break stuff.

My Snap-on guy has had that ratchet on special several times. Part of another package or on its own. I've looked at it several times, but just haven't been able to see a need for it in my box. He says it has sold well for him, but I have passed on it more than once.

I'm sure it has good uses for some people, just not been able to figure out what it could do to earn a spot in my box.

I hadn't either. Never even heard of a gyroscopic screwdriver. Its neat how it work. No matter what position you are holding it when you pull the triger that is zero and twisting it right and left make it go in forward and reverse. The more you twist is the faster it goes. I will have to see how it holds up.

Rhuff86...I got my dad that same wheel step for Xmas a few years back. He actually uses it on his rv to reach up high when he washes it or needs to do something. Very sturdy.

A good mod to the hitch step is to remove the bolts that hold the the step in place and use quick pins, will make it quicker to change height positions.

Some guys including me use quick pins on our chevy trailblazer rear seats. Makes more room in the rear when the seats are folded down.

I honestly don't know. SO stopped making them a while back and I've never seen a brand new set with the model number on the packaging.These are "new" and never touched a fastener as far as I can tell but they weren't "NOS" with the shrink wrap intact. I looked on their parts website and all it shows is the part numbers for the individual drivers and not the set. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Klein magnetic nut drivers in 1/4 and 5/16. My first nut drivers. I've always just used 1/4 inch drive sockets on a SnapOn spinner handle.

I was recently doing some work on my house HVAC system and all of those little 1/4 and 5/16 sheetmetal screws made me realize how handy some magnetic nut drivers would be.

Better? I really dont know. What I do know is that the entire ratchet is beefier especially the handle. It feels like the handle is twice the thickness and the locking button now is made of steel instead of plastic like the SR80.

My third snap on delivery
I needed some new pliers, valve core tool, safety glasses and ratchets, theres a 1/4 and a 3/8 ratchet, the cool thing is there almost the exact same size! Good for getting into those tight spaces, The 3/8 is the compact size and not the standard sized ratchet.
