Don't drill the rivets out of the box end ratchet wrench.

I had 3 snap ons like that style that was rusted in place. I soaked it in PB blaster for an hour and then placed a bolt in the vise that the wrench fit on and broken the wheel loose of the rust bond it had. Then I started to work the little lever that holds the wheel in place back and forth with a pick until it started to work on it's own. As long as the little pin that pushes the lever isn't completely stuck and can be worked free by soaking it with some kind of penerating oil and tapping the wrench against the bench to jar it loose, it will eventually start to work and just have to keep spraying it with oil and turning it til it start to run clean. Once I got to that point i sprayed it white lithium grease and wiped it down with a clean rag and put them in my toolbox!

It works perfect now after using a lot of penetrating oil last night. It went from stuck to binding to smooth and nice. Thanks for the lithium grease tip. I will work some in the cracks since it moving free now. I know penetrating oil is not good for long term so I was wondering what I should work in it.

My driver told me another week for bogo. This was actually off another truck at my buddies body shop today. He called me to help him with something and the truck was there already. I never met this driver, but he seemed cool. For $90 I couldn't pass it up. I also got some 1/4 wobble extensions I dumped in my box and forgot to take a pic of. They were loosies at $10 a piece. I got 2.

I actually bought the same ratchet off eBay to keep at my dads that hasn't come in yet. I paid $110 for that one.

Also received this Mitutoyo Micrometer from a family member, I dont think it was ever used. Came with case, some paperwork and a wrench too although I'm not sure what the wrench is for.

The spanner is used to make adjustments to the mic. You will see two tiny holes on either side of the thimble. This is where the spanner fits in. Should be instructions in the paperwork you have.

I picked up my 145 pc 6pt socket set from craftsman today. I already had about a 60 piece set, but it was cheaper to buy the 145 set then grab all the open stock ones. So now I have a lot of backups. I did site-to-store delivery, because I half-expected to have errors with the order. I knew they were just going to be loose in bags so I camped out and checked every last one of the list.

I don't know what shocked me more, that all 145 were exactly correct, or that they were all stamped USA. Either way, I now have every 6pt socket that craftsman makes.

My driver was just telling me a week or two ago that with those Kershaw knives they have a deal worked out where he can swap them out/fix them right there on the spot instead of the old set up where they got mailed out and you didn't have a knife for a month or six.

Don't see the Mac Dealer too often when I work, but I changed my schedule a little bit at work so now I work when he comes around. First real purchase from him and I've been at this shop over a year haha.

Didn't think it was too bad of a deal for 90 dollars.

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice !!! Yes very very satisfied with 730n:) One great thing with the manoskop is that you dont need to put down the newton to zero like all the other wrenches... leave it on the highest setup when you store it!

Got a nice new 4000 PSI Pressure Washer powered by 13 HP Honda motor and a General Pump.....replaces the 2700 PSI Simonize washer in the background that puked the pump after less than 100 hrs use.
The new washer is awesome, tons of power!

The surface cleaner- 12" round yellow unit works great on the driveway and flat surfaces! It's got a rotary arm with two nozzles that spin under pressure.

Got alot of spring cleaning to do!

Ok, so Canadian Tire had a sale on impact socket sets a couple of weeks ago: regular prices for 119 piece set was $299.00, which they value at $399.00 if bought separately( I know, dreaming LOL!) on sale for $119.00...I felt it was a great buy. Funny thing is, they also had on a separate special, the same socket set bundled with an electric impact gun....for the same price!! Funnier yet, they were not in the same tool area of the store, so anyone in the tool section that stored the impact sockets, would have missed the bundled package sale, as they were kept in another location. Not saying it's the best quality, but for $119.00 for the complete package, I'm quite happy!
