Looks like a angle clamp (it's a Stanley), but the sides that would hold the pieces are so shallow, like 1/8" or 3/16". Almost makes me think it's more for flat stock steel than much else.
I purchased one many eons ago. Still have it. Believe it was made for picture frame work. Neat rig.
How in the hell did you pull that off? I Thought price matching in general was on identical items
GearWrench 10pc External Torx Socket set.
I saw them in Advanced autoparts and had some pocket change on me so I figured why not.![]()
Cripe still around??? I can't get their site to come up at all...
How much did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking? Cripe has them for like 14 plus shipping, trying to see if they are a good deal.
$41 plus tax
I am having a problem with Cripe responding to my request for a combined invoice on shipping. All well, what do you do.
Snap On pipe plug set.

Nice set , what applications have you come across that needed these ? I have only come across large hex in most trans
Dana 30 axle cover uses square recess pipe plug. So do the F&R axles on a Nissan Xterra. Two somewhat recent apps off the top of my head. Most older vehicles used square recess pipe plugs for diff cover or transmission gear oil. usually 3/8" or 1/2" so you can just use a breaker bar in a pinch but using the right socket is better.
Nice! Looks like a ton of money though, but based on the drive size, you're working on big stuff. I'll throw a guess out there: 2k?

Got a set of wrenches on sale for a home set. Saves me from bringing my work set home all the time. Got a cheap tape measure for beating up at work and some channel locks for battery cables.

2014 VW Tiguan.
Rear doors. You "need" this special tool to remove the rear door handle.
I fought with pick hooks and bent up wire hangers and what not.
Finally borrowed this tool from another shop. Did the trick.
I bought one cause if I didnt we would have another Tiguan in the shop tomorrow. Now that I own one, we will never see one ever again.

Where did you get the black hawk vice grips from? And how do you like them?

New ratchets. They are Posi-Grip 0° gearless ratchets. Never tried one before, but father-in-law decided I needed a set, so I couldn't say no to free tools. Had to piece the set together from 3 stores, but got a decent enough deal.
Let us know what you think after you've used them a while, I've always been intrigued by the idea of a gearless ratchet, but they seem to be hard to find (these included, I've never heard of them before.) My whole experience with them was using some no-name stubbies a friend picked up for cheap at one of those tent sale things, they were surprisingly useful.
Got the top and bottom box filled with the tools in them for 200$
Got the other huge box of stuff at a garage sale today for 40$ I'll have to sort through and show pics later. Mainly taps, dyes, bits, etc.
Any info on the boxes? Bottom is a 74 year, can't make out model number. Top is a mb80 not sure of year.
