I picked up a new Milwaukee 1/4-sheet sander this morning. It is a great little tool.

My plier drawer in my service cart looks pretty good now, these Kobalt pliers actually seem to be pretty good kit for the money. Much better than my mismatched assortment of TSC and Menards cast offs.

More Wright stuff for me.
[

Did you buy the satin wrenches from amazon? They have them on there, but the pictures weren't clear.

Yes, all of my Wright Tool purchases have been made on Amazon.com. Slowly I have been uploading photo's on Amazon of the actual tools received, many of them are wrong in the Amazon description. See my post in the Wright Tool thread here for 1 example

I haven't been on here much but bought some new stuff
Matco ratcheting serpentine belt tool.

Borrowed one of these from another tech and had to have a set

Matco 3/4 extendable ratchet, I should be able to break some stuff with this.

And a Snap On 3/4 to 1/2 adaptor

boring arrival today but a pair of rabones england made steel rules arrived.

6 inch is disappointingly thin but will survive well in my coverall sleeve pocket i think. used to have a good one but some tea leaf stole it!

12 inch seems good enough

matco student discount ftw!

don't neglect the kabo made extra long flex ratcheting wrenches. USA made pinless impact swivels are also very nice. The discount is basically a free pass to try stuff, you can pretty much get all your money back on those types of tools if you don't like them via ebay, even after fees.

For the price on some of that stuff youre stupid if you dont buy it. I love those snappy torque wrenches... sooo nice.
they are sweet. and my price on matco boxes is rediculous. I almost bought the triple bay.

yeah. I wanted the 5s because of the Max weight difference but I couldn't justify the price coming right out of school. I have enough loans as it is.

Tap and die sets arent a fast moving item. Those zero degree long wrenches, on the other hand, can be dumped for $280-$300 NIB in a week any time. I think during specials they get down to ~$180 for students.
