Hi what is a disc like that used for? Thanks

It's used for metal shaping, you run it over a dented surface and the high spots shrink down from the heat created by the spinning disc rubbing on them. It takes some practice to get right, today I'm using it to make scrap

What kind is that one? I was looking at a similar one from snap on and it was $60 some dollars.

That particular one is sold by SLP which is an aftermarket performance company that does a lot of GM stuff.

I ran into a problem installing my plugs with headers so I made my own with a spare socket I had in my box. I thought I was a genius until I found out they already existed....lol.

I'm sure the snap on one is great, but since you can make your own for basically free I couldn't justify spending $60.

New channellock gift set (screwdriver isn't half bad for a China brand.
New spring tool for drum brakes.
NOS craftsman USA metric 3/8" socket set.
Lastly my very first SK socket, 5/8" 3/8 drive spark plug socket. Useful that my car and truck both are small block Ford's, so they have the same size plug.

This thread has caused me to create a whole new wishlist on Amazon. Ima name it 'those darn GJ folks caused this'.

I have had great experiences with Klein tool's. When I worked hvac electrician they earned me my bread. I still have all my Klein's. In fact my linesman pliers are one of my cherished tool's.

I really like channel Locks. Love the way they are painted grey and they work awesomely. Feel great in the hands too.

Knipex needs no qualifications. They just simply are the best pliers money can by and have great innovations. Pricy though and CL is on part with them in workmanship.

cant really blame the gun though, the stack's been set up for years and pulls between 10 and 250kip daily so you have to figure the bolts are pretty well stuck in there and we dont know how the rigging people put it together when we moved into the building a few years ago.

I was responsible for moving those stacks back in 2004/2005. If you have any questions let me know. Re-balancing them was a challenge, especially the 24k stack. Does the main actuator finally need new seals/rechrome?

They are not anywhere in my area but yes there are some. I found this dealer online in a FB group. He offers great deals. He was great to work with also. If I remember correctly I think he is out of Missouri

Where did you get our hammers? Are you in the uk? Thanks
Merb

They come up on ebay occasionally.
<-- yes, I'm from the Land of Lotus, used to be from the Land of Ford :)

They're not sharp but have somewhat of an edge. I use them to remove gasket remnants from aluminium parts. Apparently they're good for removing stickers from panels and glass too.

They're designed for removing stickers from plastic windshields too.

I had the matco guy order me a 24" half inch locking flex. He knows I only get orange. He mistakenly ordered the green. I made him keep it and order the orange one. When I showed my co-worker the orange one he went onto the truck and bought the green one.

I may grab a set of nut drivers in the beta orange.
