or u could keep your negative comments to yourself and stop slamming me. like shut up k! bunch of pricks

Relax nobody is slamming you. We are all here to be nerdy and talk tools.
But u come on here talking like ur "mr snap on or die"
And then u ask about channellocks which made no sense according to your snap on only attitude. Then u started making bold comments about COO which were totally incorrect

geez man, relax a little. it's not like he's wrong. I've got some US made Bluepoint and even some chinese made Snap On in my box. I also have Snap On that was made in Spain, Hungary and other countries. if your Snap On driver told you that all BP is made in China he needs to know his product a little better. Sure, a lot of the BP line is asian made (Taiwan, South Korea, etc) but it's definitely not all made in China.

SLF80A to go with the FLL80 and TLL72. They're all nice but man that SLF80A is smooth has no back drag.

so if it says made in usa or Canada its not?

If it says made in either on it, that is where it is made, there is laws against falsely marking COO.

Maybe we could get back to showing our new tool arrivals instead of talking about country of origin in the "show your new tool arrivals" thread? :dunno:

that's on my list, I see you got the PMV11 blades too, sweet.

Yep. I gave them a shot straight out of the box, but they need some honing before use. I also still need to wipe every machined surface down with mineral spirits to get rid of the coating.

I got the 25 deg blade that it came with and a 50 deg blade for figured grain. Still may pick up the 38 deg blade at a later date. It's my first brand new plane. All my others are old stanleys.

I have to say that the tote isn't as comfortable to hold as my old stanleys, so it will likely be modified or a new one made for it.

the Veritas cabinet scraper is a must own too, I just got a new blade for mine, not worth taking a picture of.

8-19 am I counting 1 too many spanners? Nice tool roll where did ya get them, they look too good to come off the mac van?

Colin

The missus got me those, they can be found on ebay for around £40-£50.

Those wrenches looks nice. Care to share a bigger photo showing how thin or thick the profile is? More detail would be nice too. Britool looks interesting, tho I don't think they are readily available in the US without insane shipping prices.

What is its COO? I wished I invested more into buying european tools, or tools in general when I was living in Scotland years ago...

Some comparison pics with Hazet 602, later Facom 40, Britool Hallmark CEHM, Stahlwille 14 and earlier Facom 440.

No idea on COO, the tool roll was the only packaging I got but Britool Hallmark seems to be from all over the world.

the real answer is.......do I really care

;)

its pretty bright,im kind of curious on the hood light version of it now.i bought it to replace this **** *** blue point light.

I had some wood over the hood light version, and I didn't even know they made that small version you got. If they created a combo deal for a screwdriver, and those 2 lights I might be ready to ditch my old 7v stuff.

Gearwrench 3/8 mid length sockets and cheapo Usb boroscope

These sockets are heavy and the rail they came on is very nice. Can't beat them for $35 delivered IMO. Think I'm going to start replacing my sockets with these and keep the old as a roadside repair kit in the car

Been eyeing the Bostitch 65pc pass thru socket set. I know they are China made, but seem to be decent quality for no more than I use them. Got them at decent price on e-bay.

I was wrong on the COO of this Bostitch set. It is actually Taiwan.

Don't just assume blue point is made in china. Very little blue point is china made. There is a lot of USA blue point aswell as Taiwan...Spain and various other countries

Got a new pair of fluke probes in the mail today from ebay. 16bux shipped.
I got a free fluke 83 but it only had two black probes and I wanted a normal red/black setup
