View media item 50649Got my long awaited set of Metric Wright grips, a Facom hacksaw frame that was cheap and some NOS Stanley Magnum Robertson drivers, all in the last week. Will be saving up for SAE wright grips in satin, they are a really nice set of wrenches.

Where in the UK do you get Wright tools from? Or did you import them?

Not the top shelf however it is an improvement.

I just bought that die grinder to do some smoothing/polishing on an l31 intake manifold. Works great and is surprisingly quiet.

First one I got I returned due to vibration. Goes for all their air tools: check the output for radial play in the bearing in the store. I returned the first and traded it for one that was tight. I'm guessing they didn't have the adjuster tightened down on the bearing.

Honestly, I had never given HF a chance. However after reading about the ratchets I gave them a try. I should have purchased them earlier. This is my first die grinder. This one works great. Saves much time cleaning small engine parts.Ken

I don't think I posted these yet....got them from a member here in the classifieds section.

Like new gearwrench torx and etorx sets.

And I picked these up for my power steering job....used them today and they seemed quite nice:

Cool ratcheting screwdriver set.
I didn't know they made them in a set.

Who makes the stubby wrenches and are they ratcheting ?

They don't sell the sets like that anymore. That was a lucky ebay find. Yes the wrenches are ratcheting and are made by snap on. That set is 15-19mm. It goes with the 8-14 mm set.

forgot to add these....got the 95th stuff from the snappy guy and a clear flank drive plus keychain from Japan.

Just traded in this old Matco

For this used Snap on cart. Got a good deal in my opinion since it's practically brand new. So much more room, I'm happy.

Got a new Neiko Air punch for some body work I needed to get done. If you dont have one and you do sheet metal work, this is worth every pennies.

I was just looking a these online, how do you like them?

I have had the every one craftsman makes except the 10 and the 15 until today. The 12" was the biggest one i owned. I already had an 8 but I picked up another just because it seems like the one I use the most. So i can use it as a back up. I like these wrenches a lot and I really like the satin finish. They are made by western forge.

I like mine. They are built well and very functional. I use them a lot. My one complaint is that the satin finish seems very susceptible to surface rust down here in the humidity. They still clean up nicely, but it is a little annoying.

I'd hang on to those if I was you, pretty sure those are the old ideal made crimpers, one of, if not the best pliers type crimper IMHO.
