Snap On new flare nut wrenches from the auction site - only 4 of 5, 1/4" X 5/16" on order from the truck dude. Too bad the driver can't seem to get off msrp with me on most of the needs and wants.

wanted to pick up a new code reader, something simple, after accidentally leaving my last one in my truck in the winter and the screen stopped working. I dont pretend to keep up with technology, but was curious about the bluetooth ones and picked up an elm327 and bought the corresponding app, all for about $28. still playing around with it and figuring it out, but pretty cool to me for the price! Dang technology!

Telling me about the intake gasket leak i knew about

Some of the live readings it has, i didnt take the time to actually go through and set up accurate parameters so its just what i punched in around the block

Grabbed a wide fork bent plastic pry tool today to replace a harbor freight one I had. These seem a little nicer although I can't beat the hf price. Cheaper for the whole set than this one snap on pry tool

Had some surprise points expiring; was able to use them on these "overstock" items.
I don't have any long ratchets, it's coarse teeth, but the finish is pretty nice.

This was the special from the snap on kickoff earlier in the winter. Everyone else got red. My driver pieced me together the same deal in Green :D yeah I'm that special lol. Got some beef jerky thrown in too!

Very, very nice. Hopefully jerky wasn't green.

Here is a picture of both sets. Metric and inch.

Those aren't listed on the website yet, but are in the May flier for $43.95 mm, and $49.95 SAE. I've been wanting something like this for a few years, going to have my driver order up a set next Wednesday.

what do you think of the ratchet t handle so far?

It has a nice feel to it, and I'm used to using coarse tooth ratchets, that's what I grew up using, plus I'm strictly a weekend mechanic/tinkerer anyway. By the way, COO is Taiwan I know some people care about that stuff.

thanks! used em both last night and they worked awesome! The jerky wasn't green but honestly it wasn't great tasting jerky. wonder if there's a warranty on it? :lol_hitti

Harbor Freight Jerky never tastes bad, now you know. :D;):bounce:

And no, there is no warranty. The cow was the original owner of the jerky, and as we all know the snap-on warranty does not transfer.

Yep, that's what I paid. My driver said they've been a big seller.

Maybe not a tool but got this in the mail. I had sent them a nice note about how much I like their snips (the knifti-cuts especially). Anyway they were nice enough to send not one but two t-shirts. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that the shirts are USA made as well. Really made me an even bigger fan. Thanks again Midwest snips!:rocker:

Got a new DeWalt 18V cordless impact driver. Of course, you have to buy the kit with two batteries, charger, driver/drill and carry bag. Last one at Home Depot. Got the manager to give me a 10% (15% at the register) open-box discount, $122. (The driver alone is $99).

Oh, "Built in USA" (from global parts, etc.)

Stopped at a Snap On truck near the Walmart parking lot and got the 1/4" drive adaptor. I always believe in getting good bits and accessories. $15 (list is $18)

I've got a Snap On 112SIMTMM 1/4" drive impact set coming from a pawnshop on ebay, like new, for $90 ($218 list).

I'm looking forward to using these to put my MINI Cooper S in "service mode". I think there's about 22 fasteners altogether to get the front bumper and cover and frame extension tubes off.

Would you have the part number for the Precision Torque wrench set? Can't seem to find it on the website.

SRWMF212PTA - I couldn't find them listed on the website either, just like the bit ratchet that I bought. Out of my last three purchases off the Mac truck, I haven't been able to find any of them on the website. They were $299.99 with an $8.00 discount.

You can't beat free right? Well a good friend surprised me yesterday with these two freebies. A GearWrench carburetor adjusting tool and a Were 0,8 x 4,0 screwdriver to add to my set.
Thanks buddy and I love free!
