I got the Wilde chisel holder years ago. Try as I might I just can't keep it locked on the chisel. I use it when I really need to swing hard with a big hammer so there is a lot of vibration.

Three or four good hits and it starts to come loose.
I have the same problem with my Craftsman, although it is a different design (C-frame). Yours appears to have a jam nut in addition to the threaded chisel holder. Have you tried tightening that down before wailing on it?

Finally had to put my 10 dollar radio shack soldering iron to rest that lasted me well over 10 years. Got a weller iron at lowes today for 22 bucks. Seems nice and good reviews. And got a magnifying glass

I want one of those ratchets so bad. No Mac Dealer and don't see them on their website.

What do you think of the Lang snap ring pliers? I have been looking at that set for a while now and may finally order the set after needing some yesterday.

I picked up that set recently also and I can see why so many brands use them as their OEM to rebrand. They have worked well for me so far and for $73 when I bought it why not when Williams rebrands for $300. :lol_hitti

Yeah, If there was a hex bolster in front of the handle so you could put some torque on it before locking with the jam nut it would be better.

The jam nut just locks in however tight you twist the handle. Which in my case must not be tight enough.

First ever Wiha tools. I'm usually USA only anymore. Buying can make an exception now and then. Defiantly won't be used all the time but I thought it may come in handy.

My driver tried to sell me those, but I have not had a need for them yet. I told him I will know where to get them when I do.

Same here. Don't really use them all but a time or two a year so I bought the VIM set for 30 bucks off of amazon

All over German vehicles. If you ever decide to buy one or work on them you'll need them. Otherwise XZN is very rare State side.

I have never seen a truck, all I see are the Snap-on and Mac round here.

I already found that, having a site but no online shop is useless to me.

I always seem to find a Cornwell Truck when it is rush hour. Or he is going in the exact opposite direction and there is no way for me to catch him. I would like a few things from one of them. But to be honest I am not out and about much either. I will catch one of them one of these days.

I recently got the Lang snap ring plier set too. I was going to get a matco set but why waste the money when the Lang set is like the same.

These are must haves if you ever do any work on VW/Audis. Well worth the price in my opinion. I have the same set and use them pretty often. They are very durable.

Also digging thru clearance bins at local hardware stores is addictive.
