I think so far that its very good quality. Nice heavy beams and crossbars. This one weighs quite a bit but can I barely feel it being towed. Also the rear ramp/door is constructed from 1/4" thick angle iron. Other ramps I've seen where made from only 1/8" angle.
You will feel it if you load it like that.Just make sure you balance the load, most of them I see built into workshops have ⅔ of the weight in front of the axles. You will feel it if you load it like that.

Looking good on the welding.
What torch are you using and what size tanks? Thanks! Im really no expert on welding, so that means a lot. I used my oxy torch and fusion welded those, didnt need any filler rod. [emoji106]
BTW, that is the torch set you recommended to me a while back. Has gotten tons of use, heating, welding, and cutting! I love it!

I am using a full size O2 tank (330 cf?) and the second largest acetylene tank (200 cf?). A while back, Strouty recommended me a Smith torch setup, right after i got the tanks. It was the entry level Toughcut torch, and Series 30 regulators.
I am VERY pleased with them. The torch came with a brazing tip, welding tip, and cutting attachment/tip. There are MANY other sizes available for the handle.
I have gotten so much use out of the setup since i got it. It helped me immensely when i was replacing the rear bedside on my flatbed.

Rat, those are awesome. Did you get a good deal? If so where did you get them?
Love those Gray's.Needed a good torx driver set. T15 - T30.
Also got these Gray flare nut wrenches. Canadians, take note - these things are every bit as nice as Snap On/MAC flare wrenches- maybe even nicer. Seriously, I have never seen a more 'perfect' set of wrenches haha.. sounds weird to say but they are literally flawless. Can't wait to use them.
Thank you very much! I'm currently trying to make heads and tails of all the choices out there for exactly this. I don't cut too much but do sometimes need to cut a motorcycle/atv frame or swingarm or an axle. Having the option to weld and braze would be great.
