Went a little overboard this month. Not showing all the little bits and or accessories I bought for the drill press and band saw.

work pays for tools you get to keep? not bad

anyway... need a 12pt 1/2" for my wheel hub bolts (yay get to replace an axle shaft u-joint soon.. so excited) probably have one somewhere but i'm too lazy to dig through crusty old sockets in old toolboxes when i was going to be near menards anyway

If those bolts are on a 94-01 Ram 1500, I think they are 14mm. Or at least mine are. I've done this a few times in 155k miles on mine, and in my experience, I'd say the chances of an axle shaft seal leak or wheel bearing making noise afterwards is about 50/50. :(

Sorry, got to work and was immediately sent on a service call. I'll make a note right now and get a pic tomorrow.

If it doesn't have the ir logo and says titanium on the hammer case then its a 2112 which is the same as a older 2115 except for the 7th slot on the cylinder

Please share source where you got them for $40 if you don't mind.

I don't know where he got his from. But you might want to try Sears. They go on sales once in a while just need to keep your eye on when it's on sales. And depends on points, you could get them cheaper.

I am pretty sure it 13mm and not 1/2"
I have to replace the hubs on my 98 ZJ

I would say buy 2 of those sockets as the bolts have a tendcy of not being easy. Wether it's a broken socket, breaker bar ... If you have a 3/8 impact and a 12pt chrome socket you might get lucky with access (about the only time I Condone using my chrome on an impact as nothing else seem to fit)

When i saw this on my local for sale site i almost had a heart attack. Before my brain could figure out if the price was a mistake or not i noticed it was sold already. Maybe the person who bought it will post it here. Oh and tools included .

turns out they are 13mm.. someone lied and told me 1/2"... well it is convincing given the strange mix of SAE and metric throughout

managed to get them with a 1/2" drive socket and my 24" matco ratchet... then couldn't get the hub to come loose... yay 19 years of rust... i guess on the bright side when i give it another try the bolts should be easier to take off

anyway... i got this tday

I have the 1/4 and 1/2 drive versions. The 1/4 is my favorite small ratchet, the 1/2 is good, but for some reason I go back to the Williams. I think it is the bulky head and short handle.

I use the 1/4 in "spinner" mode a lot. The 1/2 is my only flex so it does get lots of use, but for some reason it's not the one I pick up when I just need a ratchet.

I would buy them both again however.

I absolutely agree. Have them in SAE (and a single 10mm).

I usually tell the wife what to get me for gift giving holidays. Then she surprises me with something else from my Amazon wish list. Last year she got me the SAE set but I use metric way more.

My brother got me an Amazon gift card recently and thought bam know exactly what I'm getting.

Now to find a project. Lol

Nice. I shouldn't have asked. Trying not to make any purchases for a while.

I can understand that, I am trying to hold off until after the holidays, I have a feeling I am going to be getting sioome decent quality tools. But I always see something on here I want.
