Made a new magnetic can holder with the use of a magnetic paper holder
xxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you don't mind, where did you get the black paper towel holders. I have two from HF that are red and all my boxes are black. Probably paint the two sets I have but I would like to buy at least one more black set. Thanks!

You can get black ones of those and the shelves that hf sells at Menards.

Ok, so I'm out in my shop talking to my new 44" roller cabinet

(You do talk to your tools don't you?)

And it was telling me it was lonely, so I went and got it a mate!

I'm hoping that in a couple of months they'll have a set of 18" twins!!!

I picked up this little beauty from a C.L. ad a month ago. Paid $100.
It feels really solid.

Yes, "EL GUY SHEET METAL" is stamped on it. I tried googling him to see if it had been stolen, but nothing came up anywhere close to nearby.

Does it fill the need competed to a reg ratchet. I already have the ir hammer head and ir mini ratchets But I like my knuckles so was looking at the HF

What the verdict

I like it. I never use my SO ratchet as it is and with this ratchet I don't think I will be using the SO standard ratchet for a long time. I just finished a short term use review lastnight.
Lots of pictures. Knuckles are safe!

Those tools are the ones that are the most useful at times.

Yes, I sure am glad to have a cart for my welder so I can roll it wherever. And although the parts washer will rarely be used, when I need it, I'll have it.

How are the swivel sockets doing? I'm very interested in them but little worried they will break like the older ones. There really isn't anyone making affordable swivel sockets.

Truthfully, I didn't see the 887.. I was more focused on getting the impact wrench and didn't pay as much attention to the driver. May reconsider now

I gotcha, I'm getting an 887 this week at the shop so I'm going to compare them to the makita and fuel. The mak still spins the fastest though dewalt claims more torque then again so does the fuel and the mak destroys it.

Can't wait to get the brushless makita impact wrench.

I have used sunex swivel sockets in the past they are great and semi affordable. Just not as affordable as the HF swivel set. But to answer your question they are doing well so far. I haven't noticed any expansion of the swivel pin retaining spring so far. But it's still too early to call it. I have only used them on a couple brake jobs so far. I will post a full review in a week or so after I have properly abused, I mean properly used them.

Time to get rid of the old kitchen cabinet and move on to something more spacious.
