Found this Grizzly G4000 9x19 lathe on craigslist for $250. Included 3 and 4 jaw chucks, live and dead centers and the stand. The tailstock isn't in the picture and neither is the crossslide leadscrew since it's bent and needs replacement. I replied to the ad about 15 minutes after it was posted. When I got there the guy said someone called right after me. Lucky timing

Wow great find!

Those diamond tipped screwdrivers really do work well. Had to replace a blade in my miter saw. Reg screw driver wouldn't break the screws to the guarding. Pulled out the diamond tipped one (fi set time using) and it broke free instantly

Who knows?
Where do you guys send them in to be Calibrated? I'm sure a Google search would give me many results. Just want so see who you guys have had good luck with.

These folks right here:

http://anglerepair.com/

Decent rates on calibrations, certifications, and repairs.

They handled two of my Snap On torque-wrenches last year.

I've actually got a CDI 1/4" and a Wright 3/8" up there as we speak. Should have them back late this week or early next week.

New Mac (Dewalt) 12v max brushless 1/4" impact
Gearwrench 1/4" shallow and deep sockets (replaced the craftsman's because these go to 15)
3/8" Gearwrench 84t ratchet.
And Gearwrench metric flex wrenches.

So I just got my metric 12 point Snap On set in and it does not have 11 mm in the mid length, they don't even make one???? They just left a blank space screaming at my OCD!

Weird they left the 11mm out. It's a useful size. 7/16 equivalent. More useful vs 9 & 12mm!

Strouty i'll check my semi deep metric set in the AM but I believe there's an 11mm. Heck I used an 11 a few hours ago on a ujoint cap so you know you need it!

I got the Vampliers as an Xmas gift. I've only used them twice since then but I have to say they worked extremely well.

I've considered them in the past, but it feels so "as seen on TV", it turns me off to it.

I bought and am waiting for the Merry version which are forged offset so they work flush from the side. The idea is sound, I use my Knipex and Snap-On slip joints to do the same thing.

These are the best out-in-the-open secret on Garage Journal.

They are great for grabbing stuff head-on.

Yup!! My Matco driver gave these to me because I had told him about super scrapers and now he can't keep up with orders on them.

If you guys think the "vampliers" are too infomercially, just get the true version made by engineer, they are awesome and make many styles and sizes. I have several pairs and they all work great!

Crazy about the 11mm. I typed FMS11 into the search on the Snap-On site, it came up and allows me to put it into the cart. I would give them (Snap-On CS) a call and get one ordered. Even my OCD is going nuts for you!

I think my comment came across as a lot more negative than it sounded in my head, I am genuinely curious about them, it was just the ad I saw was pretty corny, wish I could find it,but that was a while back.
