I love those adjustable wrenches too, although I buy them as Irega as they are slightly easier to get here, have 4 or 5 now, but none over 12" as yet.

Working on my daughters Honda Accord brakes this weekend, had to get a new hand impact tool. The only place to get one around here was the local Advance Auto.

Anyone know the quality of this? It worked well for what I needed. The bits in the one I had twisted like a pretzel when I used them.

I've had the Lisle impact driver for years with no issues. Although I can't speak to the quality of the bits as I don't use them.

Been using one off and on for twenty some years.
Same as everyone else, the bits are less than stellar, the tool itself, used correctly, is fantastic.

So the weatherhead sockets are not new, but they don't sell them anymore. Pryer is for S-cam on air brakes, but I think it could be used for other things too.

Mattvette89......I Have the set and only ever use the straight short one. I may have used the long straight one once but never came across a situation where I had to have the offset ones. Just saying in case u don't want to buy the $40-50 some dollar set

Those weatherhead sockets look interesting and if you don't mind sharing what they are used for or shots of them being used.

Best :)

If you are asking you will never need them! I think they were used on elbow fittings. Most people just use an adjustable

Yup, elbow fittings, sometimes you just get sick of busting your knuckle in a tight situation, figured I would give them a try. They are very rugged feeling, all sizes are 3/8" drive as well. I am curious to see how the sizing works, I am sure I will only use one or two sizes and even then it will only be because I bought them. :eyecrazy:

Thanks. I figured I'd compare the price to the mayhew set. I don't have a specific preference, but those look pretty nice. I'd like to buy USA if the price is reasonable.

Do you know if the boot on your 3/8 impact will fit the 2755 1/2? Do you have a model number for the boot?

New arrivals. SK impact wobble, thanks to the Amazon hot deals thread. Also got a pneumatic brake bleeder. Tired of having someone come over to push the brake pedal whenever I bleed brakes.

I've been wanting to pick up that set as well.

Every time I think I won't use it too much I'll get swamped with brake work.

I think I'll finally pick it up soon.

I have been on a search for these Allen wrenches for awhile. I looked at Menards, Home Depot, Sears, True value hardware, Fleet farm and was not finding a basic set of T handled Allen wrenches that I liked. Jegs to the rescue!

Picking up a few things in prep for a full fluid change on the crv

That's a lot of pumping. I couldn't find the video I wanted to show you, but this is close. This guy has the right idea, but it's slow because of his pump. I use my air compressor and air nozzle and it's much faster. You can fill and extract.

EDIT: start this video at 20:17 to watch him fill....

looks like the set HF use to sell (not sure they still do) with the colored handles. stand as well just diff color. if so dont put to much pressure when turning or the shaft with spin in the handle or snap off the end. they will wear out fast if used daily.

This is a filler for the set I bought last week. Eventually I want the 11 millimeter as well but man are these expensive for a little wrench.

I only need it for the differential which only holds 1 qt. Have a cold air intake in the car which gives me plenty of room for a funnel and qt bottle for the trans.

I'm moving long distance in a week so I had one last stop at my favorite local hardware store. Walked out with a pair of Klein D301-6 pliers in old style box, Starrett 16' Tape Measure (new old stock USA made), and a General Precision Oiler (made in Taiwan).

I already had one of these Starrett tape measures, purchased from the same store last year, but I liked it enough to snag another while I had the chance. They are silky smooth and at $10 I just couldn't resist snagging another for around the house while I had the chance. There's still a box of them on the shelf in the store with five or so left, but I will resist hoarding them all and leave them for someone else to discover.

I emailed Milwaukee. The part number for the 2755b boot is 49-12-0012. It fits the 2754, 2755 and the 2755b. It is available through Milwaukee for $36.00.
