Pretty cool but looks spendy. Did you compare it to other options out there, what did you like about this one? I still have the manual resistor type battery tester, I hardly ever (need to) use it.

I use the older model of this all the time and love it. It is extremely helpful seeing the real CCA of a resting battery. Much less bulky and junky than a low end load tester too.

Finally ordered the Engineer pliers I have had in my Amazon cart for the past few months. Also added an E4 Torx socket so I can work on my optispark. I have been looking for one for years and had no luck in stores so figured I would just order it.

They're similar to brass and copper head hammers in that they are non-sparking (for environments that may have the presence of flammable liquids or gases) and can be used to mold metal materials without marring the surface. They also have the added benefit of being non-magnetic.

Thanks guys, i understand the lead/brass hammer with the density vs. weight and non sparking characteristics. But I never thought of adding aluminum too the mix as well.

Is this a Snap Ring Pliers? Could you tell us some more about it please. Make COO, Place of purchase and price :)
Thanks!

They're electrical connector pliers. Brand is KTC, Merry makes a nearly identical model however for whatever reason KTC is the only one that includes tips. I think they ran about $40-$45, either brand are made in Japan, and purchased through Frank.

So how do they work? Most connectors I deal with have annoyingly difficult locking tabs and I would think these would get in the way of unlocking them???

Nice upgrade from my 113.. already blew the 10 amp fuse from putting the leads across the mains without switching them on the meter side...

Spent a good chunk of change with my snap on driver today. Haven't spent really much of any money with him in months.
The dads and grads catalog had torque wrenches on sale. He gave me a good cash deal on a new 3/8 torque wrench for $250
I found these on eBay for around $140 but this way for $100 more I know it's brand new and in calibration

This replaces a harbor freight one I have been using that I just sold for $10. Not bad considering that's what I paid!

I picked up the dead blow hammer from Home Depot last week and also got the Vessel ball grip in from Amazon to try out the Vessel tips. Haven't really had a chance to mess with it yet.

I picked up this Witte set today from Home Depot after ordering it online. Free ship to to store. Only 32 bucks! The current 6 piece set is like 60 something dollars from KC Tools, looks like an older or just a different set. This set has two phillips, two flat tip keystone and two flat tip cabinet screwdrivers. The newer set has two phillips and four different sizes of flat tip keystone screwdrivers. For half the price I'll take it. I wanted them for the phillips anyway. Interesting that HD sells both sets, one under the Witte brand, the other under the Knipex brand

Those flex head ratchets look really niiiice... I should consider snagging one off eBay. Also some day I'll buy those long combination wrenches. I've had them in a cart many times but didn't fire on it before. Nice pickups.

I love that wrench, it doesn't have the bling factor of a tech angle, but around here unless you l work on a lot of Subarus that clicker wrench will make you plenty of money for half the price of its digital brethren.

Well it's a tool, just not one for the garage. Got my new DeWalt brushless 20v trimmer from Acme Tools today. Nice promo right now for an extra $100 20v battery free with purchase.

Yeah this is for my home use in my garage where I see occasional side jobs and for my own use. So to sit out in my tool box in a hot and cold garage, I just couldn't justify spending 4-500 dollars on a battery operated unit that is completely useless if something electronically goes bad and I just don't see the longevity of them lasting a long time like something like this.
Here's another shot.....just a simple classy **** looking torque wrench if u ask me8c027187fa5621e8e1e60c51c658e048.jpg
