Finally got my whole welder setup all done!
Inventory;

Klutch 220si Mig/TIG/Stick welder w/spoolgun
80CF 75/25 argon mix
40CF argon
Lotos LTP5000D plasma cutter
Klutch welding cart

Still waiting on a matching set of flowmeters for the bottles, along with a 3 way ball valve. That way it will be completely tool-less to switch gases for aluminum welding.

Just got the welder and the second bottle in today (both private owned tanks). I have to say this welder is top notch. I havent seen many reviews on the Klutch welders, so i may do an in-depth one.

And as required.... Pictures!!! I want to note in the last picture, i mounted the air fitting for the plasma cutter on a stiff part of the cart. It allows a much more "solid" surface to push and pull off of when connecting and disconnecting air, as opposed to the flimsy regulator mount.

Bought in the last month:
Protective cover for my IR 2235 tmax

Plastic O-ring tools from SO

Gearwrench semi deep 1/4dr sockets

1/4 drive m12 milwaukee ratchet,battery & charger

The boot went on right away, the 7mm,8mm & 10mm of the semi deeps used already, the milwaukee is great for instrument panel/dash work.I'm a die hard DeWalt guy,but the don't make a cordless ratchet. The O-ring tools haven't been out of the package yet.

They sockets I picked up today for $10 including the box. All of the sockets are either SK or Williams, with the exception of a husky breaker bar, and the craftsman universal socket.

New Festool CXS this week, really happy with the drill except for a slight wobble/run out so will be going back for an exchange.

Bondhus 28 piece bit set was $8.50 and made in usa. A good upgrade from the china bits I had laying around in my box. The case it came in feels very nice too. The retaining ring in the socket adapters for them are a pain since they hold the bit too tightly for me to pull out with fingers, but surely that'll easy up after time.

Probably going to grab a bondhus hex key set too to replace my pittsburgh set I currently have. "All Bondhus® products are guaranteed for life. If you are not happy with a Bondhus® tool - for any reason - simply return it. A replacement will be shipped right out at no cost - no hassles, no questions asked!"

Picked up a brand new 2763-22 today on kijiji (Canada's CL) today for $300. Tool, 2 batteries, charger and case and original receipt for warranty. Have lighter duty cordless impact in my service truck (along with 40cfm compressor and air tools) but want a stronger one so I can take apart most things on our equipment when my service truck can't get close enough to use air impacts.

Contact the seller and ask for an actual shipping cost. I'll bet they opted into the "eBay Global Shipping Program", which for me was the "International eBayers messaging me about my insane shipping cost" program. I don't use that anymore.

That belongs in the buying tools before you need them thread... Nice sets tho

Well, unfortunately, I have neither the space, nor the knowledge, nor the faith in myself to work on my own cars currently, so I'm mainly buying tools for school this fall. However, I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone and buy tools that will not only get me through school, but also be of good enough quality that I can get a few years of daily mechanic use out of them. I figure it's cheaper in the long run to buy one set, as opposed to a school set and a work set. So me lacking a decent compressor isn't a big deal, hence why I bought sockets before the impact.

Hopefully within two years I can have enough skill and confidence in myself that I can work on my own stuff.

I took your advice. We'll see if it works.

Post if it does.

I opted in a couple of times when they started offering it for sellers (ship local and they take care of the rest), and all I got was emails from folks outside of the US asking me what the hell I was thinking charging so much for shipping (same as above, $30-40+ for a $10 item).

Got these from Toolup today. Couldn't resist the discount on them.

Got these last week. Wanted to use the SEP discount as much as I could while I had it.

Used a 20% off code on Zoro to get the 75th anniversary Wilton tradesman vise with bash hammer. Man this thing is huge vs my little Columbian.
