I've already got a set I use at work, and I'm not about to buy Hansen trays because I can't justify spending that much more lol
Was also scoping out the 72" box as well

That 72 box has got a lot of press on here. Just can let my Matco box go. Still looks like new and paid for.

Pliers sets from HF have always been junk for me. I find it a waste that they include "Channel Locks" too. Through the years I've gone through two blue sets and and an orange set. This time I decided to just buy the red handled pliers that are individually packages. Picked up slip pliers, side cutters, needle nose, and linesman pliers. http://www.harborfreight.com/7-inch-professional-linemans-pliers-94382.html

So far they are pretty decent. For less than the price of a value meal you get the exact pliers you want and will use, and they are of better quality.

I personally haven't had good luck with the pliers. I use them as beaters and it's well worth a quality pair of pliers the first time you fail with the **** HF ones.

These were free in this case, which means they will work great for the price lol, I usually bring tools home from work when I need them, but sometimes I have unexpected projects, these should suffice for around the house chores while I get my tool bills down and ready to start restocking the home box

Nothing fancy. Just some cheap plastic pry tools for nasty jobs, and a simple 1/2" socket rail. Hoping I can make something from it...

How do you like that drill? I've got the ir w7150 20v, the 20v 3/8 ratchet, the 12v 1/4 ratchet and will have the 3/8 w5132 around Xmas. The other tools I have now are a 3/8 Milwaukee m18 fuel impact, m18 fuel drill/driver and the newest m18 fuel 1/4 impact driver. I'm wondering if it's worth replacing my drill with the ir variant.

And finally today, a pair of bolt cutters. Otherwise known as a real bolt cutter, and the "mini-me" of bolt cutters.

Had a little corrosion on the end cap so was able to get it for $50 at the pawn shop. Cleaned up in a few minutes soaking it in vinager. Works perfectly. Will check the calibration tomorrow on the snap on truck.

You're going to like those lights. I've got 20 of them in my garage, and they made all the difference in the world. I went from 4,000 lumens to 100,000 lumens. Twenty five times the lighting power was the best thing I've ever done to my garage.

I wanted some t-handle hex drivers so I ordered these online with some SYW points.

They were both on sale for $20 each and after SYW points, both sets were just under $30 total including tax. I think "msrp" is in the $40 range each.

I didn't inspect them well at the store because it was late and I did an online purchase/store pickup. First impression is I'm not thoroughly impressed. Made in China, which I expected. The ball ends are very poorly defined. On the smaller ones you can barely tell it's a ball end at all. Smaller sizes don't seem that strong. Compared to eklind or bondus ball end hex keys that I own...there is no comparison. I'm going to stop by Sears later and compare to the other ones on the shelves. Not sure if I'll keep them or return them.

I'll try to get pictures of the "ball ends" later tonight.

Whats going on at Matco ? I ordered some 3/8 deep and shallow impact sockets and he said Matco said they were back ordered till April.

When you don't actually manufacture anything with your name on it you're at the mercy of your suppliers. Just purchase the GearWrench models, they are the exact same products at much lower prices.
Your dealer probably means April 2018 as well.

Picked these up used locally the other day, new to me. I really only want to keep the Matco ratcheting combo wrenches, but I feel like I got a deal on all of it so I bought the lot.

Picked up the lot for $330. It's all used, but still in great working condition. I have some of it for sale on tdiclub since I haven't yet hit my 100 posts here!

Are the spring returns on those Mac pliers staked or riveted in place?

I had some cheapies that looked like that, the spring returns were just held by tension of the handle covers. Couldn't stand them. Fell out, pinched myself, just a disaster. Hopefully the Macs are better made.
I too had the same ones sold to me by Cornwell. Probably 7 years ago. They weren't great but the needle nose long reach were decent and got me through some ****** jobs. Cutters were to be avoided though

Tried to get a close up....this is the craftsman 5/32 vs an eklind 5/32.

We have a new Matco driver locally. I saw him in a parking lot this afternoon and hopped on the truck and introduced myself. Nice guy, we got along well. He had a used/trade in box and in a strange coincidence had a set of sae t-handle allens in really nice shape (just dirty). Picked those up for $40 OTD. I also bought a breast cancer t shirt and he threw in a free sweatshirt. I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future.

I plan on returning the Craftsman t-handles later.
