Picked up a Vag Com for my Audi so I can do certain repairs and changing coding. Also picked up a GearWrench 44pc 3/8 drive Metric and SAE Impact socket set and Miluakee socket adapters for my Impact that's on the way.

image.jpgI don't have a Snappie guy so I have to get on the Snapon.com truck. A few screwdrivers and a hat for my new Milwaukee ratchet. Thanks Bobioz1 and ihateminimumwage for the idea and part number.

Can you link the cover for the Milwaukee ratchet.

Not a tool arrival, more a tool fabrication. My version of the Honda valve adjustment tool. Yes you can buy the taller version of this for 15 bucks
but it's more fun making this stuff.

Little update after further inspection. I didn't figure any of these were US made cause they didn't have that in the ad or the USA stamps. But surprised to see that only the oscillating tool, speaker and flashlight are made in China, the rest are made in Mexico.

The speaker is for sale if anybody wants it or its going on ebay.

I'm still trying to decide on the oscillating tool, never had one. I'm more of a wrencher than a hammer *******. Should this tool have any value to me?

Winner winner chicken dinner! I have several....

Well apparently these things come in different lengths.
The one I purchased was significantly too short.
So I had to modify it.

I found a craftsman socket in my "What can I make with this? " scrap collection. Welded that on to the end and now I have as much length as I need.

I just picked up a Rockwell Versa Planer in new condition (only used a few times) for the low price of $80 CDN. I say it is a low price because I have seen abused planers for over $175 on Kijiji Canada. Our equivalent to your Craiglist. I will try posting a picture soon.

Waiting on my doorstep when I got home ...

I've had a 24pc set of these for a couple years now that I lug around in my truck and I've had no complaints with them. Lately I've been putting together a new box for out in my workshop so I don't have to make the trip across the yard to the garage every time I need a hand tool out there and these popped up at a pretty good price so I jumped.

Damn! What sizes do they go up to? Looks like it says 32 in metric?

I recently picked up their 24 piece set and really like it, plus the tray the 24 piece came in was perfect. This is a good looking set, no tray with it tho I presume?

The set is 1/4" to 1-1/2" (19pc), and 6mm-32mm (25pc). Pretty complete. No skips until 1-3/16, 1-3/8, & 1-7/16 SAE and 29mm and 31mm metric.
http://www.gearwrench.com/gearwrenc...heting-combination-wrench-set-sae-metric.html

This set's 'made in China' and I'm pretty sure my 24pc was 'made in Taiwan', but nothing noticeably different about them at first glance. Only time and use will tell. I'd been looking at this set for a little while with prices running $180 and up, so when I got an email saying a seller I was watching had dropped the price from $180 to $170 for a day which coincided with one of ebay's 10% back in ebay bucks last week (so, a $17 credit I won't see until the end of this month) it just seemed like time to buy. Won't surprise me at all if I see an even better deal in the near future to make me wish I'd held out longer but you just never know.

And no, it didn't come with a tray. Those are a set of Ernst wrench racks I had laying around. They're not big enough to hold all of the metric set though.

You're gonna love those wrenches. The fit and finish on them, for being Chinese, is amazing.

Saw these on Tool Discounter and really liked the overall coverage for wrenches... putting together a toolbox at the only garage I have access to (a family members) and was gonna stock it with primarily gearwrench sockets and started looking at the standard wrenches and then ratcheting.... I need another job at this rate though.

Nice buy at the final price you got them for.

Yep, I was naughty again. :bounce:

These are on sale until the end of the month and my local warehouse finally got a couple sets in. Going to try these in the hobby shop as I have the SO double box end metric wrenches at work and they are quite bad ***.

I already have the 8" side cutter version and have been very impressed with them, it was the only side cutter in our shop that could have cut 1/16 aircraft cable and was more impressed when I was able to 3/16 aircraft cable, so I decided to buy the needle nose version for other work
