Went to HF to use the 25% on a toy for me:

Of course had to upgrade the 1/4 fitting:

Opted for the warranty, 2 years for $35. So $110 +tax.

Of course got a free item, didn't have the 36" grab tool.

1. Caved on the 1/4" Wobble Plus set for $100 plus freebie bottle opener

2. Finally remembered to order a Snapon YA905 boot for my Milwaukee ratchet for $5.20.

3. My Mac guy got me this Streamlight HL in orange and traded me for the standard blue one I had received. Gave him $20 for taking the blue one off my hands and the upgrade to the HL.

4. Picked up one of these Makita wobble 3/8" adapters after seeing one another member posted.

5. Not really a tool but I added a gloss black magnetic "S" to my bottom drawer for a little spiff up of my box I've had for 9 years.30b283ad4f6d11b48d3a77318fc69d8d.jpg22731d924502cf319e905adde4fae247.jpge56af7b4f3388a9bc23c7eb01d341fe6.jpg65a96f163c0ac0337cb89d09e86d1a4d.jpg3c2e7514984b41ee4efa546fe8f0c863.jpg

I have that gearwrench ratchet... it has so much back drag I never use it... will take it apart to figure out if I could make it a LOT MORE smooth.

It's basically a breaker bar it's so stiff.

Thanks... the trick is opening this ratchet...

There should be a small C clip on the drive side. Take a 90 degree mini pick and get underneath and slide the pick around until it pops out. You might need to take a thin feeler gauge to first get underneath the C clip.

This post may help you get the ratchet apart. I put Permatex 81950 (engine assembly lube) inside of the ratchet and it worked like a charm.

Upgraded my 1/2" drive game with a set of SK deep sockets. 10-24mm delivered today.

Conveniently also waiting on my front step was my warranty replacement 45183 SK flex head 3/8" drive. Chrome pealed off the head, so they replaced it no questions asked. Love this ratchet.

I grabbed the 2704 hammer-drill off of let-go for $80 and he gave me the case too. It's dated November 2016 so I've still got plenty of time before the warranty expires.64eba61f86540722a993d58a346e85d8.jpg

I sold an elderly Craftsman 5 drawer toolbox I got at a yard sale for $10, used some leftover Rustoleum paint on it, sold it on Craigslist in a couple of weeks, and promptly bought these tools off Craigslist, a 2 ton engine lift, and a engine stand, from a FL transplant from IN who sold his '66 Chevelle 402 cu.inch playtoy and didn't need 'em anymore. $80 for both, and the toolbox sold for half that, so the end cost was $50 for the two (including the original toolbox cost), a hydraulic hoist and engine stand.

I'm selling two Pontiac 389, 1966 engine/transmissions and a complete 400 1973 Pontiac Formula 400 engine, auto ******, driveshaft, and rear end drivetrain for a friend. The engine hoist will help me to move them. The engines are complete w/all accessories, they came out of a couple of Star Chiefs, and he has SS trim for the Star Chief body too, a hood and 3 doors (4 dr style body. Cheap prices, stored inside, 1 is a 4 bbl, 1 is a 2 bbl, and the 400 is a 4 bbl. I have pics for ID'ing the engines. PM me if interested.

After 5 years of not owning a decent jack besides various bottle jacks I picked up this today. Super happy and this should last for a LONG time for my needs.:rocker:
