Been wanting those thread repair tools (the one with the 2 jaws) for a long time but good ones are crazy expensive in canada!! My boss has a smaller and larger one, dont know what that one does but id love to have it! I am going to check that set out!!

For what ever reason, this brings me immense satisfaction. I have always wanted a regulated power supply in the garage and I guess I just got tired of dragging out a car battery for the last time.

Up to 32 Volts DC and 5 amps regulated. NICE!

What do you think of the NAPA roto ratchets? They are the only roto ratchets ive owned but i feel for some reason they feel a little rough

Yes they feel a little rough compared to other ratchets that I own, I use mostly the 3/8, the 1/4 hasn't been used much, also I never opened up and greased so that may be a factor. Who knows if they were shipped bone dry or with light oil. Maybe the US guys can chime in to their Carlyle roto ratchets as they are pretty much the same thing except different handles.

Made by Kal tools back in the day. Rebranded by many ranging from Mac, Matco, NAPA, and many others. Really handy as you don't get the flex you do with long handled needle nose.

OK, I know Craftsman tools aren't what the used to be but when a normally $99.99, 42 pc. set of 1/4" and 3/8" metric and SAE hex and torx sockets with a ratchet, an extension and a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter goes on sale for $24.99 I'm interested. And when I find out that I have $20 worth of bonus points and my out of pocket cost for that huner-dolla' kit is just over five bux, I'm buyin' it!!! Hell, the extension alone is worth that.

Got that set about 2 years ago... use it periodically... well worth the $20 some odd I paid after points etc...

No failures... beat on a few of the hex sockets too... ripping apart an air nailer that was assembled with red locktite.

The ratchet *****... (mine anyway)... it's in my wife's trunk...

Installed the sockets on rails and organized them with the missing sizes I use. (SK-USA)

How are the other pliers they offer? I was looking at the hose grip ones, most are made in somewhere elseville, not USA and they are total ****. If I recall, Snap On only sells them in the Blue Point line. I am always up for buying new tools.

Starting to love Facebook Marketplace...browsing and found a brand new Snap On 10 Piece Metric Wrench Set ( SOEXM710 ) locally...normally $388 from dealer, picked up for $100.

Besides, I'm a home garage guy. I don't see a need to have top tier heavy industrial grade hand tools. If I break something I have backups or I go get a replacement. In any case you can't buy a Big Mac meal for the $5.35 I actually spent on the kit. I'm pretty satisfied.

I used them at work and kept snapping them, replaced them with a big vim set and now they reside at home
I got them for 30$ at Christmas, I'm not seeing them even worth a dollar more, I waited until Christmas to buy them for that reason, especially knowing that ratchet came with it

I have this same set and I paid about $5 for it as well after rewards points. I'll say this.. I've used it maybe 4 or 5 times. I refused to use the ratchet that came with it. It *****. I think it's only got about 5 teeth, and the back swing is ridiculous. The bits I've used are already starting to round off.. Not a high quality set by any means, but since I only paid $5 for it out of pocket, I guess I will keep it around.

I just got this from KC Tool Co. Used this weekend on old used bicycles, great fit for old crappy bike bolts. The paint is textured which helps with grip, but it does look like it will rub off the ridges over time. Really like them a lot though.
