My haul. Waited until black Friday for any discounts before I bought anything. No discounts were found so I ordered it anyway. The Carlyle ratchet was one of Napa's quarterly sales so I did get it for 50 buck vs the regular 90. f2c8baee43ad38d3f1adefff503c5674.jpg

Since I noticed others bought the Ridgid saw stand, I too bought another of these. Last years black Friday I bought one for my miter saw and have liked it so much that I bought another this year for my little table saw.

Fedwrench, how's the cleaning brushes? And how did you get the try before you buy set? My helper needs one lol

I view the brush set as a larger version of the Harbor Freight set in a blow molded case  You have three types of brushes,
nylon, brass, & stainless steel in diameters 8-19 mm. I consider them disposable/consumable. As for the sonic sample box there's a link on their web site with a form to fill out.

Fedwrench,

Can you please show a close up of the jaws of the flat band hose clamp pliers?
Who is the manufacturer of those pliers?
Thanks,

Dave

Circle 9, a Taiwan tool company makes the pair I have.
AST, Matco, & others rebage them. The pliers jaws are 16 mm wide whereas, a normal slip joint pliers jaws are about 9 mm thick. Overall the hose clamp pliers are about 8 inches long. Please see first photo below for the jaws

Fedwrench,
Do you own a Dewalt 3/8" drive ratchet from the first design when it was heavier?
Thanks,Dave

Sorry, the only other Dewalt ratchet I own is a round head 1/4. However, the 3/8 ratchet head is .5 inches thick (not counting square drive) and measures 7.5 inches long. The 1/4 is 3/8 thick and measures 5 5/8 inches long overall. here's a couple of crappy photos showing the 1/4 &
3/8 drive ratchets.

Got this stuff off of amazon delivered today.

Some loose sockets that I will probably never use, but it bugs me to see empty spots so I have to fill my trays.
9mm 12pt deep 1/2" dr.
5/8" 6pt shallow 1/4"dr.
1" 12pt shallow 3/8" dr.

Also picked up a couple sets of Tekton impacts. I have seen good reviews online about them and have heard good things from a couple people I know, so I'll give them a try.
3/8" dr. deep metrics 7mm to 19mm
1/2" dr. deep metrics 10mm to 24mm

Guys,

Here are my tool acquisitions from the last couple weeks:

Miilwaukee 26" Portable Tool Box (Made in U.S.A.)

I purchased this tool box for about $40 at Home Depot. Here are some pictures:

Dave, I got that same Milwaukee box to carry all my cordless tools and misc. accessories in. Overall, I really like it. The size is great and it is sturdy. The only problem I have experienced is the box isn't as water resistant as I would like it to be. I left it in the bed of a truck overnight when it rained, and my drill and impact got wet and the corner pockets got filled with water.

Luckily no damage, but try to keep it covered if you plan on leaving it outdoors.

Also, I believe the manufacturer of this box is Suncast.

Are those WrightGrip 2.0? If so, can you provide a close up shot of the open end?

Even if they are not 2.0, those are still the best USA made wrenches for the money.

Picked myself up a set wrightgrips metric 952 from HJE.

You made me check and yes they are!!

They appear to have same teeth but not as aggressive.

This particular wrench set would not come up on the Napa website a couple months ago, I asked them if it was discontinued and if they were still available.
I also asked them why the P90 flexhead series of ratchets are no longer listed, I never did get a answer on that one.
I told them I have a small YouTube channel and would make videos of anything they cared to send me.

Just a few things I've picked up over the last couple weeks. My first set of Knipex pliers, the Cobra 250. Wera kraftform laser tip screwdrivers, an SK 14 mm socket and 8 mm long hex socket, Astro Pnumatic ratcheting crimpers and last but not least, some USA made Shark 3 inch cut off wheels for the die grinder.fc75d50597970dafeba7f364f0f90b3b.jpg244db3a7da3ae7de56deb63b569dc212.jpgedd6c4d77baaa772f8f0964cc1c4b596.jpg

If the 12-13mm is from 2006.
The 10-11mm, could it have a factory fault? : headscrat
I doubt it, my chart might not be complete or one of them is a replacement not from original set. I'm sure Matthew will chime in when he gets a chance.

Sometimes the date code stamps are hard to decipher. I think it could be a 2009 if you compare it to the chart.

The guy at NAPA called today and said my order came in. The last two wrenches I needed to complete the extra-long zero offset wrench sets I bought a few months back. Also two stubby screwdrivers to complete the green screwdriver set I bought a month or so ago. I sure do wish they came in green, but blue is better than nothing.
