I don’t know why they can’t make a XXL pliers wrench. The biggest one they offer is not as big as the cobras are.

Yeah, Cobra XL is 16", XXL 22". Biggest Pliers Wrench is 12"

Seems like at least a 16" ought to be on the drawing board.

The 12" Pliers Wrench have a maximum jaw opening of 2-3/8". How many times have you needed something larger? MSRP on the 16" model is $120 which is an assload of money to pay for a pair of pliers.

Many times, thanks for asking. I do intend to get the 16" pair. Also I don't care if I ever use them, I want a PliersWrench so big it takes two grown men to use. Best tool ever.

Got some tools over the past week:
1. Noco GB70 Jump Pack (shown inside it's ammo case, labelled with reflective tape)
2. Wire brush (random tractor supply purchase)
3. Set of carpenter pencils (had this set before but gave them away... bought new)
4. Dado jig... (have not used it yet but fell in love with the youtube vid)
5. Tenoning jig... (long story but needing this tool drove a lot of my purchases last year)
6. Sketchup Tutorial... (AWD snag for cheap)
7. Cool parallel pliers with cutter... (plier wrenches with teeth... hmmm)

I was at Menards today and saw this on the clearance rack. I think it was $12.99 marked down to $5.99 or so.

I felt the handle in the store and it was nice. The ratchet action felt decent.

Got home and took it out of the package and I was disappointed that the screwdriver shaft basically fell right out. It's meant to be interchangeable, but there's no detent ball to hold it in. It also wobbles a bit. The cap on the handle comes off to store the bits. They had some stupid plastic "Christmas tree" type holder attached to the cap you're supposed to snap the bits into. Of course, they didn't all fit correctly. Useless.

I've already cut the plastic bit holder off and just put the bits in the handle loose. I still like the way the grip feels. I think I'm going to glue the shaft into the handle to keep it from falling out.

I'll keep it for 1/2 price because it's a good screwdriver for my trunk/go bag, but I'd pass on it for full retail.

Expensive...yes. Worth every penny...absolutely. Cuts through the city snow drift with no resistance. I am shocked at the quality of the build- and it takes up very little garage space. Win-Win:rocker:

Greetings from Norway! Im 25 years old and im just a weekend warrior(diyer), not a pro. I was tired of lending tools from my dad so i decided to start building up my own tools set. After reading alot here on garage journal I ended up with the following tools: makita 1/2 impact, makita drill, pb swiss small screwdrivers, SK X Frames ratcheting wrenches, gearwrench 3/8 metric/SAE socket set with the 120XP ratchet, nws pliers, sunex automotive impact sockets and the awesome AC hydraulic 2 ton low profile Jack, manufactured in Danmark. Expensive but worth it!

Im already loving it! It has no squeeky sounds, no slop or play at all, very high end. I love the super thick O-rings on the wheels, cant even hear it rolling. Thats awesome that yours is still going strong after 10 years!

Just picked up this 4” CRKT Fossil. It’s heavy for an everyday carry but I couldn’t pass up on the cool factor.

Got this Estwing 24oz ball peen today at Home Depot for $30 and I am very impressed with this thing. The grip and overall balance is absolutely amazing.
I can honestly say I think it is going to replace my snap on 24oz dead blow ball peen, that's how much I like it.
No more "fat" head like the snap on and the face is probably 3/16 larger diameter

What is that? At first I thought needle scaler, then I though extended barrel air hammer, but now IDK??? :headscrat

Its a rivet gun (13" long), not entirely sure about the end piece. Its some sort of mandrel and houses a hammer bit with a 3/8" female square drive with a magnet. All that comes to my mind is to convert it to a screw knocker but im not sure. I am sure its overkill for that purpose though as I bought it to make large rusty things move.

I picked up a few things at the local auction place yesterday. 53x30 welding table with a 1/2" plate top and 3/8" thick 4x4 legs. Turned out to be way heavier than what I need but it'll work. Also got a 16 speed drill press and a bench sander.

Nice.
Is the engine on that Made in USA ?

The Honda snowblower was bought at the closest, outdoor-equipment dealer to me. Due to this forum, I would never buy it at a big box store even if it may be the same. It shipped from Honda in GA and says American Honda all over the box and manual. I have no clue where the engine was built.

If you are talking about the pickup, no clue. Lightnings have a 2 vin code starter and were built in Canada. I assume the engine was built there too:headscrat

Honda single stages and most mowers use GC/GCV engines, blocks cast in NC. If you care.

I’ve been needing a new flashlight for the shop as I’m tired of replacing bulbs in my rechargeable Streamlight that I’ve had for nearly ten years now.

Broke down and purchased the new Snap On ECARB042 today.

It has this nice thin fold out flood light feature as well as a magnetic base.

I will try it out this weekend as I have some projects in the shop lined out.

I have been in need of some short metric wrenches, I like having complete sets and wanted large sizes so I went with the sk's. 10-19 we're used from eBay and 20-24 new from Zoro. Having just opened them the finish on the new ones is a bit dirty and not as nice as I would expect for the money. I'll wait until I use them to make a final judgement but right now I'm thinking I still like my snap on short panel sae wrenches more.
