Just picked up a new Dewalt router with a couple of gift cards I received for Christmas. Gonna build a router insert on my table saw.

Stahlwille 14 "long" pattern combos. Somewhat shorter than the Craftsman Pro and the PROTO ASD Spline RW.

A very nice set of wrenches though.

I have a few pairs of Kleins now, and I've been impressed with all of them. My only gripe, the newer ones flash rust very easily. Klein would do well to get some sort of coating like Channellock has to keep it at bay.

As much as I'd like to BS you Dave and say that's a rarity, fact is all their hand tools flash rust easier then most others. Obviously this means a little more care is required with a occasional wipe down but that's a small price to pay for a tool that doesn't give up the ghost when put to work.

LX, let me know what you think about the connector tools, they are on one of my lists as well.

Copy that bud, I almost took apart some connectors yesterday just to see how they do. As it turns out my wife has a bunch of family over for a couple days so in short, I'll probable **** around with them today just to stay out of the house. :bounce:

A girlfriend once bought me headers for my truck. Next year we will celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary.

I think you already know but in case you don't you really should be looking to lock that down.

Thank you. The irony in this is I've been in the tire and wheel business for most of that 17 years. I tell her all the time that I will have my own changer and balancer in the garage someday. Definitely don't have the room now but huge attached RV garages where we live in AZ are as common as a 2 car. Its on my must have list for our next house.

Well, that didn't take long. This sucker saved my **** today. I've never owned a jump pack, but with the size of the fleet, it was bound to happen. It lives under the seat of my truck where its been single digit temps for a few days. Wife's POS Camry (of course) wouldn't start today to get out of the driveway to let another vehicle out. Having never used this before (but read the manual) that car was running in 30 seconds from the time I remembered I had it.

I'm a believer. Hopefully it lasts a few years.

Oh yea i love them. Exactly like the 6” just scaled up. Feel great and are just as accurate

I love my Mitutoyo 12" dials too. At one point I had Starrett USA made 12" and I sold them because they weren't as good as the Mitutoyos (too tight, felt rough, no built in depth bar). Also I believe the 12" Mitutoyo are still coo Japan, not Brazil like the 6" and 8".
