These look like decent open end wrenches.

Craptsman screwdrivers. Not USA made but for $6 with bonus points I took them.f01f673775e3807d5bafa7c46d52d3e5.jpg

These are great I don't care where they came from. You can really feel the difference with the diamond tip.

Man those are good looking wrenches. What was the damage?

Since I work at a dealership that owns the Napa they were $105. Right now they're on sale for in the "Real Deals" catalog for $127 though.

They seem pretty nice. Chrome looks good, thick beam that shouldn't dig into your hands.

Xmas haul was good this year, but I planned it that way. A bunch of Ryobi tools and accessories, the more the merrier...

Brushless angle grinder, narrow-crown stapler, random orbit sander, quarter sheet sander, corner cat sander (no, it's not enough sanders), chemical sprayer, trim router, router bits, four 4Ah batteries, but no, sorry, no partridge in a pear tree. Also picked up a Pittsburgh clamping saw guide and a couple of 24" quick clamps from Harbor Freight (not pictured)...

Recently picked up the mitutoyo 12” digital calipers and the 1-12” digital depth mic f6b4aec1ec22f67fede3bfff62303299.jpg2d9726052dc429054504f3596fc39517.jpg

Where'd you get the calipers from? I'm skeptical of getting Mitutoyos from Amazon as some fakes get through.

My 6” digital i bought new at a local place. All my other digital mitutoyo stuff i have bought used on eBay. I got the 12” for $50. They are definitely a little beat up but you can tell by the quality that they are real. I don’t need them super often so not having perfect condition ones didn’t bother me.

Spent a couple of my X-Mas dollars on a few things from HF today.

I used the Special 25% coupon for the Maddox Bearing and Seal Driver Kit...$29.99. A Super coupon for the 1/2 breaker bar...$14.99 and the Nitrile Gloves....$5.99. I couldn't find my coupon for the rags so those and the wire wheel I just paid store price.

The Moving blanket was my 'Free' item. Will be picking up more of these blankets soon in prep for our house move in the Spring.

I saw this being used on an old Jesse James Austin Speed Shop show. It’s leaves a deep impression if you like but the visibility with the small diameter tip is exceptional.

picture is not great in first post - but the "no skips" set went 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 23, 24, 25...

I decided not to return it - it's heavy and shipping would be a biotch. I already had a Kobalt 22mm impact in my inventory so all is good. Anyone need a 23mm GW 1/2" drive impact socket?

Spring Tools are very nice tools. Made in USA with lifetime warranty. I've been using the two sets below. The 5 piece metal working set I use often at work. It includes Combination *****/Center Punch, Self Centering Punch, HSS Center Punch, Cold Chisel, Ping Dent Hammer. The other set is a 4 piece long pin punch set. They are both very helpful when working in an area that can't get a hammer into easily. On aircraft structures this is a common problem. You won't be disappointed, they hit very hard.

New Wilde tools! Anyone else try those low profile pliers out yet? And I notice Wilde makes the Craftsman and HyperTough pry bars too.

After replacing two batteries this week that couldn't hack a week straight of single digit temps, battery testing is going to become a regular maintenance item with this USA made tool. By sheer luck, I happened to be home for both battery failures so the inconvenience was minimal. If you consider changing batteries outside when its 6* and windy to be minimally inconvenient. :bounce:

Think I may follow your lead as I had one die in the garage over the weekend as well.

Email GW/Apex with those pictures and they'll most likely send you the correct socket. I had the same happen with a new SK set, and they made it right with just an email.

Just got it so only gave it a quick test. Doesn't seem terribly loud but no die grinder is going to be quiet. Comes with 3 foot long rubber exhaust sleeve you can slide on the end to direct the exhaust away. Haven't tried that but guess it would make it even quieter. Feels like a quality piece. Got it at https://www.tooltopia.com/ingersoll-rand-5102max.aspx
