IR angled die grinder. MAX version with .4 hp.

large.jpg
Snap On FHCNFD72 3/8" dr and SKF80 1/2" dr. The SKF is my first DAUL 80 ratchet. Sweet.
I really like the dual 80... I like my stubby ones. I use them a lot.

Got my grubby hands on 4 almost new older model Dotco die grinders. Just put the oil in em and put the air to em and they work beautifully. Nice and quiet

Where did you get this?

Zoro. Amazon was 60 cents cheaper, but Zoro had a 20% off coupon, so they were way cheaper. I ordered it around 330pm, Zoro handed it off to UPS around 5pm same day, had it next day via free ground shipping. Amazon would have been 10-12 days.

At one time, Snap On rebranded these as their own; we had one in the shop I worked at in high school. They have a lot of models, but I just wanted basic. Don't need GM diode testing nor alternator.

These types of testers are readily available at most auto part stores.

I know I'm in the minority, but I wish those where quick release!! Wish more SO was QR! So nice man.

I like quick release on everything but stubbys cause if I am useing one my arm is shoved down in a hole i can't see and I don't wanna drop my socket also would b nice if the lever was recessed

Capri XZN bit set and Husky E-torx socket set. Been seeing a few of these fasteners around and figured I better get with the program. Lastly is a Snap-On 3/8" drive 18" long breaker bar. Just used the bar on some really tight 3 /4" bolts and nuts. Worked great with little flex.

Hello to all; My first post, I will just throw my recent arrivals up. I have been collecting a few Armstrong tools.
The Armstrong set really caught my eye. I like large Flatheads. I didnt think you could get bigger than 3/8"; but there is a 7/16" Flathead in this set. The Armstrong T-handle is nice. 11" long. The Snap-on is 12" long. SK and Proto make nice sliding t-handles that are 12.75" long. I'm talking 1/2" drive. The extra length makes a big difference with ease of torque. I use t-handles to hand torque bolts that are notorious for stripping out with an impact. Threads in cast strip easy even using the lowest setting on a Nitrocat 1200k air impact. Large Flatheads let me install and remove spring plungers in dies with ease.

Doesn't the 6029 test alternators?

Check this topic for some 12mm (almost 1/2) and 14mm (9/16) wide and 5/8".

It tests charging voltage. It does not test diodes or rectifiers like the 6031 does. Thats the model we had in the shop and I hated having the additional cord always dangling. And we never used that feature.

The latest piece to the shop puzzle- a 1963 Bridgeport mill. I've been looking for years, but they bring big bucks around here. This one must have come out of a school or something, as the ways are like new, and there's only .010" backlash in the leadscrews- probably the tightest Bridgeport I've ever seen, much less one that is 55 years old! Nice digital readout with a number of extras, too. Can't figure out how to rotate the sideways pic.
