The Carlyle roto-heads are my favorites. I have 2 Snap Ons but the Carlyles beat them because of their quick release features.

Nothing too crazy. Auto darkening helmet from princess auto. Adjustable shade, delay, sensitivity. Came with a really nice bag to store it in, that was a bonus!

Can finally stop using the old cheap flip down lens style. I know they have their place, but man they are a pain to use when your hands are *******!

Hitachi 4 1/2" grinder. I needed a smaller/lighter one and this fills the bill pretty good. Used it for a bit already and I like it so far.

I happened to be in Kansas City and just had to drop into Harry Epstein’s Tool Emporium. Didn’t really need anything but thought I would find something. I even managed to get one of their catalogues from 2012 but what the heck. Purchased a bag of leather will figure out what I’ll do with that eventually. So a Klein measuring tape, couple of small slotted Craftsman screw drivers, Irwin Hole Drill Kit, Stabila level. Actually I really didn’t need any of it, but when did that stop anyone.

My newest happy purchase was a Harig, grind all #1 fixture. It came with the diamond radiusing arm to boot(bonus). Normally retails for about $3500ish +++. I picked it up for $270CAD(210USD)

Picked up a new style of extractor (New style to me at least). I've heard good things about these, hopefully they hold up. I always use straight fluted extractors and these seem like they'll work similarly. Sadly I am extracting broken off fasteners WAY more then I should have to, thanks to heavy handed coworkers.a5343bd75c9bc2c7d257483b1380b958.jpg

I bought a set a couple months ago on promo. Of course, I haven't needed them since then, and honestly, I'm ok with that.

They are nicely made though!

Now committed to the Bosch 12V platform as my Milwaukee 14.4V & 18V NiCad tool batteries are dropping almost daily. Got the Amazon deal with the impact driver, drill, two batteries, charger & soft case for $100. Looked on their site and they have a significant deficit in the 12V category compared to Milwaukee. What Bosch offers overseas is another story all together! Got this a week ago.
