Just get a cable tie gun. Pulls the zip tie tight and then flush cuts. You can adjust the tension of the gun before it cuts so you don't damage the cable.
Yes, they work great.

Also, these are a good alternative and less $$$.

I looked @ those ratchets on Amazon, just wondering if you have run into any issues with the heads being really thick.
Thanks

Found this torque adapter at my local harbor freight. Was initially bummed as the Pittsburgh Pro version was no longer available on the website so I thought it was discontinued. Glad they brought it back.

Just arrived today on the big brown truck! Matches the 1/4 Williams USA I got last week. Now I really want the 3/8 drive. These things are solid!

My arms are bleeding just looking at that. For the sake of everyone that will be working in the same area as well as your own, spend the $5 on a pair of flush cutters for those zip ties.

Keep your arms and anything else away from my cables!! :willy_nil

I had a cheap pair of flush cutters that I used for a long time, then they somehow dropped 35 feet, hit the only piece of steel on the floor, and broke a tip... :(

I had been using my snap on 5" side cutters when I took those pics, but they don't cut the thread in the cable very well at all... The Knipex worked great for cutting, but they aren't flush either, and leave an edge on the ties...

I picked up a pair of channellock 758's today and like them so far, but still want you to stay away from my cables!!

Love the install. I hate seeing ugly cable routing when I look up.

Thank you!! Anytime I am working at a clients, I treat it as if I owned the place myself... This warehouse has taken 6000 feet of cable so far and the only place it can be seen from the ground is where it loops from a pipe to a beam... Not to many people will even notice that though!!

Arrived today. Built solid and feel decent in my hand. As others have said, heads are thick for sure. Selector switch remains to be seen if it needs to be trimmed or if it will be ok. :D

Picture looks fine on my computer but posts sideways...

I really could have used this a few weeks ago. Couldn't get my big frozen hands in the tiny space around the handle-less carcass of an original battery in a late model Liberty. Nicely made in the USA.

Some new stuff

SK Screwdrivers, same as my old Craftsman Pro drivers.

Knipex Snap Ring pliers. I no longer despise snap rings. Much better than a flat blade screwdriver or my el cheapo Protos with broken tips.

Bondhus Metirc T-Handle Hex Keys for the workbench.

My first order from KC-Tools. Various German tools to test the waters. Love the Felo wooden handle. The Weras are nut drivers, 6mm and 8mm. That mini crowbar is a T45 Torx, massive.

And an inexpensive Impact set. It's not a full set, it has skips, but has the sizes I need. I work on motorcycles mostly, as a hobby, I rarely use impact drivers.

I've spent the last 20 minutes reading nothing but bad reviews of that thing, and I still WANT one!
