Got the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Sawzall kit as a gift and picked up the M18 Fuel 7-1/4" circular saw kit. Not sure what the deal is with the circular saws but the one I bought comes with a 9.0Ah battery and charger for $249, the bare tool was $229 and another package was the saw, a 5Ah battery, charger and bag for $329.

I purchased from Tooldiscounter.

There is a similar deal in an ongoing thread in the Hot Deals forum for a different BOGO set from NTX Tools. For that set, NTX was slightly more expensive with shipping - like $107 plus $10 to ship and Tooldiscounter was $112 with free shipping.

But Tooldiscounter also had the 3/8 set with 120 tooth ratchet for $104 shipped which is what is pictured. So basically trading off the stubby ratchet for higher tooth count in the main ratchet.

$799 coupon on the welder, 20% off the cabinet and helmet. This stuff is *not* the Harbor Freight stuff of old. Works really well!

picked up a couple small items from a local hardware store today. They have a lot of closeouts and NOS. I didn't need another hex key set, but the vintage packaging was too good to pass up!

Hey, did Dennis get a new shipment in?

I don't remember those seeing those scissors :headscrat

You'll like those Toptul screwdrivers, they have great blades and nice handles. Their balance is outstanding even with the striking cap.
There's an awful lot of old school Proto yellow handled screwdriver goodness in that drawer though.:bounce::dunno:

replaced one of my most used tools...my laptop. Ordered a Dell Latitude 3580. 128GB SSD, 8GB RAM, 2.0 GHz i3 processor, Windows 7. My previous Dell lasted me almost 7 years!

Yeah they will be nice to use with a 17mm ratcheting wrench. The 1/2" has 22mm hex but they will be used more as the only stubby impact wrench I have is 1/2" drive

Can you show the same size socket in 3/8 and 1/2 drive next to each other?

Picked up a couple sets of impact sockets from grey pneumatic this last week. I picked these sets up because they're cromo as opposed to cr-v and they have 10-36 mm (minus 31). That's pretty much everyone I use in a 1/2" drive.

I bought a not-too-chintzy Welaise 8620C multimeter for under $20 off Amazon, to replace the super-duper-chintzy $5 Harbor Freight Cen-Tech multimeter that finally shot craps after 6 or 7 years. It has good reviews and the back-light, temp probe and inductive NCV sensor are nice features the price.

No, no pics as yet but I have just purchased the DeWalt DCF899P2 cordless impact kit...2x5ah batteries, charger, bag and the DCF899 1/2" impact wrench. Rated @700lb/ft (tested @914lb/ft) fwd torque and 1200lb/ft reverse. I had the DCF889P2 kit (400/700lb/ft w/4ah batteries) but within five minutes of getting the new one I sold the old (4mos old) one to one of the guys at work for a slight profit (more on that later) and he was very happy!

I will always go TOTL DeWalt...great tools that stand up in the worst of it and as a bonus...my brother is employed by Stanley/B&D so I am ever grateful for TOTL tools at his employee price. You would cry...I mean it. My DCF899P2 kit was sub $200Cdn...tax in!

The DCF899 is "MIA"...how so inexpensive?

Edit: Now with the pic...hey, there ya go...it actually happened!
