Starting to fill a new toolbox with the Williams & the Wera. The Bondhus go in the service cart.
Still don't understand why SAE hex keys can't be sold in the same holder. Drives my OCD self nuts.
That new MAC pneumatic impact was a good buy. I bet set up properly it will serve you well and in an automotive environment out perform any cordless you could buy. It would be a good tool to do a thread on after you use it for a while. I like MAC's new pneumatic offerings, they appear to be well thought out.
Skin, are you using a half inch hose?
Can you explain the precision drivers make and model numbers please and thank you haul. The Germany tool haul. More on the way but this all came in today along with a spare pair of engineer pliers
MACs new 1/2" flagship impact. Picked it up "used" for around $250 after discount. Doubt it has had more than a couple of sockets on it. Someone probably didn't like the performance considering the teeny fitting in it. I replaced it with something a little bigger.

Yeah, it annoys me as well. The non-color coded SAE sets do come in the same sorta holder thing, but I really wanted the color coding. I think I'm probably just gonna 3D print an index for housing both sets in my toolbox and remove them from their respective holders anyways, but still ... c'mon Wera.

Was on the SO truck yesterday picking up something for someone else. I've looked at these the past couple of years and never pulled the trigger on them. They are really nice! They grip great and have comfortable grips. Since I got my Knipex Cobra's (Craftsman branded), I've not used my CM pliers much even though they are pretty decent. I'll use these quite a bit because a straight design will work better than the Cobra's curved design at times.

Great to hear it mine is a few years old and made in Switzerland, are they still made there?
I think cordless impact manufacturers were so intent on power figures and being able to offer the market a product up to the task of heavy duty work they kinda forgot to focus on making a tool light and ergonomic that industry users could use all day. Only recently has the thought of cordless stubbies/compacts been their focus and the market has received them well. Most folks don't want the weight, size & clumsiness of a big powerful cordless & will settle for a reduced power mid torque or whatever. I still run air, that will not change but maybe one of the stubby cordless will enter the stable at the right price.I really like the Snap-On 14.4V stuff but once you start getting into 3/8 and 1/2 drive I prefer air if the hose is right there. Much smaller footprint, lighter, more power, better ergonomics, and often quieter. The cordless high torque impacts in particular are monsters and just aren't much fun to lug around.

I'll use whatever as long as I'm not tangled in an air hose, bout to buy the rivet gun from Milwaukee for patching semi trailer roofs because the air hoses like to slide off the trailer, I dont like climbing a ladder 5 times more than I have to, one guy broke a rivet gun because the hose pulled it off the roof lolI think cordless impact manufacturers were so intent on power figures and being able to offer the market a product up to the task of heavy duty work they kinda forgot to focus on making a tool light and ergonomic that industry users could use all day. Still getting used to the new digital screen and fancy settings...
