CM 640 Series long handle lever hoist, 3T

Honestly I dunno if I'll ever have a use for this (I have a HF 3/4T) but new these are ~$1000 and I got it for $130 AWD

I have a problem: I can't pass up expensive tools at low prices!

Also Posi-Lock TJ-1 puller. These are made to grab snap ring grooves in bearings. I may never have a use for this but I believe you can never have too many pullers.

Everything on it is dated 2011 (their included paperwork is surprisingly comprehensive). Dunno how it sat around for 7 years before popping up. The packaging did not lead me to believe it had previously been used and re-boxed.

I bought Protos in large sizes and they were made in Taiwan.

I guess the funny looking ones are made in Dallas? Some of their ratcheting wrench lines are imports, I'm not sure from where. I haven't tried them yet.

This is one of the large sizes I have and it's Taiwanese. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful wrench, and the mechanism is good. The 1-1/8 is my most used ratcheting combination wrench and it's never skipped a tooth. I was just a little sad to see a classic American brand with a different COO. ****** Stanley.

The USA made protos go up 1-1/4, they’re the I-beam with spline box end ones and only come in chrome.
The Taiwan import ones also have an 1-1/2 size, they just have normal shanks and the chrome ones are 12 point and the black oxide are spline.

I bought Protos in large sizes and they were made in Taiwan.

The expensive proto are made in USA a set is something around 6-700$ if I recall correctly. The Taiwan made are similar but quality isn't as great so I have been told. Never seen USA proto ratchet wrenches in person. But they are even more costly than snap on last time I checked. Prices fluctuate though.

I've uploaded pics of some of my ratcheting wrenches before, heres the pic again. They made be expensive, and USA made, but I've had to warranty my 12 mm for locking up (and being unable to get it unlocked) 3 times. My chinese made craftsman, or taiwanese gear wrench never did that. This was never in high torque situations either. So I can't say I've been impressed by them especially when I paid ~25-30 dollars a wrench
