Just recieved a little set of IPS soft touch pliers...kinda cool. A friend from Japan, where they are made, brought them to me.
Never seen Gedore's with red handles. They are great pliers though, rival Knipex.
Couple of arrivals today. Somewhat disappointed in the gedore pliers having a red grip as opposed to the blue in the ad. I had intended for them to have some distinction from the ubiquitous red tools that my box is already loaded with....

I checked the listing again and all the way at the bottom of the text wall it says "red dipped handle..." even though the picture shows blue.

The red handles I believe are just new old stock from before Gedore switched to textured blue handles.Yep. Ordered from Amazon. Not sure why they'd specifically manufacture them in different colors for different retailers.

That's true, and this change was much more recent, as it happened earlier this year. The Gedore Red line is cheaper and mostly imported, not made in Germany and Austria.Gedore has changed the name of Carolus (its line of simple tools, DIY) to Gedore Red, that may be why they are red.
It's just my opinion, aver if someone who is sure can confirm it.

Thanks, quality seems very nice. Not a pro airbrusher at all, learning hobbyist at best. But a pro friend of mine suggested that I get a good quality from the start and its all much easier and more satisfying. Just like with most tool related stuff.
Yes, Neji-Saurus is the original and I think they also make the Vampliers.
I do have 2 Neji-Saurus pliers and they are very good. Have already saved lots of time removing some stripped screws with them. Much easier than with other tools. Bought them from ebay and shipped direct from Japan.

Picked these up from Amazon with a Xmas gift card for my fuel 3/8 stubby and ratchet. Reading about and seeing pics of them really don't do justice as to just how small these things really are!

Some new goodies. Picked up the Streamlight on an Amazon price drop. I think I paid $32. Very awesome kit with three batteries and a ton of accessories. (various clips, chargers, etc)
Snagged a couple of things off the internet with gift cards.
Where did you get those flex keys?

Yeah, I think it is. I hear people calling every brand of LED flashlight a streamlight.
Kind of like Q-tips and Kleenex![]()
