Picked up the pressure washer from Costco on sale. Love it so far. The snips were the last set of USA made Wiss on the shelf at the local Ace Hardware. Picked up the snowblower and the jack stands at a garage sale last weekend. Snagged both for $380. Electric start and only a year old (and barely used). Wifey saw that on Facebook marketplace prior to the garage sale. Both the pressure washer and the snowblower are four stroke.

Is that the Subaru "power stroke"? If so I have that model and it has been great. Good luck with the Toro snowblower though. We had one that was a nightmare to get started (electric start) and was always breaking when you tried to use it. The old Ariens it was meant to replace outlived it. We also have one of their "easy-start" lawnmowers that refuses to start without a shot of ether and the pull rope. Been that way since new and they swore it was fixed several times until the warranty was up.

I have the Toro lawn mower and it works like a dream. The snow blower also starts with no issues (so far, at least).

I picked up the same pressure washer. I thought the floor cleaner was a gimmick, but boy was I wrong. It shaved probably 80% off the time it used to take me to clean my patio. The turbo nozzle also makes quick work of the areas the surface cleaner can't hit. It's my first Yamaha small engine, but I'm sure the pump will go long before the motor.

A few new goodies. I have a detached garage, so running into the garage every time I needed something was getting annoying. I picked up a Veto Tech MCT to fill with tools I'd need for basic repairs/installs around the house. I live in a house built 65 years old, so a lot of work has been going on since I moved in. Renovating various rooms, new exterior siding, insulation, etc. Veto is running a promo where they will send you a free TP4B tool pouch with qualifying purchases as their spring promo. (Mine still hasn't come in the mail yet)

https://www.vetopropac.com/springpromo

My m12 impact driver will pretty much live in the bag, so I got the M18 version to keep in the garage. Have a whole bunch of Amazon rewards points racked up, so this was "free."

Also decided to pick up a few of the new high output batteries. Really looking forward to not lugging around a 9Ah battery on impact tools.

The Amazon Prime Rewards CC. You get 5% back on Amazon and other various perks. I've seen them run promos for 10% back, etc. You can sign up here

The other nice thing is interest free financing on Amazon purchases. For instance, if you were a mechanic and needed an expensive tool, you can make monthly interest free payments. Here's what that looks like:

I mean all of that shiny knurled goodness, perfectly aligned. aside from those three naked posts...

My 4.5mm were naked on my 2 row holder when I had Craftsman on there so I'm used to it. I usually slip my extra 8 or 10's in those spots as backups.

I love mine. I have a hard time putting them to use as they are so nice. I reach for the Snap-on Dual 80's if it's nasty work or they might get scratched. I save the Nepros for clean, safe environments.

Wow. Some really nice tools there.

Yeah I had a chance to seriously upgrade my tools so I just went for it. Tools I’ve had on wish lists for years I just bit the bullet and couldn’t be happier. It’s got me to work on projects that have been put aside for too long. I was also able to sell off a lot of tools I didn’t need or had duplicates of in the process.

And where exactly did you find such a "you ****" price?

Bought a box of tools for $10. If anyone has interest in the wrenches or could tell me more about them, that would be great.

Didn't know they made the 1/4 tz1 adapter, always heard and seen the FZ1's. Koken breaker bar looks beefy

My OCD absolutely hates open socket trays... So, I had a similar issue. It really bugs me that Gearwrench does not make a 4.5mm socket. I filled in the 1/4" deep and shallow post with a corresponding Dewalt 4.5mm and the mid-length post with a spare Dewalt 10mm deep.

For the 3/8" rail, the only open post was a mid-length 20mm which I don't think Gearwrench makes either, so I just filled it with a Dewalt 10mm deep, oddly enough is actually the same size as the Gearwrench 10mm mid-length.

As for new tools, picked up the Astro 7865 ball joint press kit to help my growing suspension tools drawer.

Since you also have GW sockets and the Hansen trays, did you have a few 1/4" sockets that didn't fit over the stem because the through holes were too small? I had to drill out 2 sockets that looked like they were drilled too small originally. I might pick up the OEMtools 4.5 for the short and deep, but because it leaves the mid pin open I haven't decided. I think the empty slot looks cleaner than a random socket personally and obviously I've never needed 4.5mm yet.

Got this magnetic organizer today for the random oddball things that don't fit on Hansen trays. Works much better than the old plastic tray with generic pins I had. More pins for the new tray are in the mail.

I'm not sure that OCD is the correct explanation. Sure - I have an OCD problem - but I can deal with an empty spot if I have marked it as such. My OCD comes from making sure everything is in it's place. I have found that if I mark the spots where a socket shouldn't be then I know everything is accounted for and I can relax. You can get as fancy as you like - but mark the empty spots so you know nothing is missing and your stress may be less.
