Got some more v20 craftsman stuff for my truck set. Drill at a pawnshop, light for $12.50 off eBay.

Also got the Klein voltage sniffer cheaply off eBay. Finally, the HF mud drill was a cheap pawnshop find.

I bought these a while back and tested them yesterday replacing a window motor. Nice tool for the money, I bought them from Amazon.

Not new but it feels like it. My 532 ratchet came back from warranty repair. Stahwille replaced the internals on this 10+ year old ratchet only charging me shipping costs!

Let us know how they work out, any feed back after using them would be nice. Thanks

Much to my surprise I got the tools early yesterday. They're nice quality, have a lifetime warranty. I replaced calipers, and brake hoses using them. They weren't the tool I would have normally reached for but I wanted to give them a try. For the money they were well worth it. I have a steering box to adjust on an old van. They'll be perfect for that job, and a few others I have lined up when it gets warmer.

I would like to know that too, I’ve been thinking of whether to replace my soft handle swivel Roto ratchets. I have the soft grip on both my 1/4 and compact 3/8.

The soft handle ratchet is longer than the hard-handled ratchet. You have to trim the handle in order to get the new hard grip to fit.

Aw I see thank you for that info. I guess I wont do that, i was thinking about getting the 1/4 swivel Roto Hex hard handle ratchets and switching over but that’s pretty expensive.

They look good. I wonder how they compare to the GearWrench 90 tooth version?

from what ive seen pretty comparable. gear wrench a little thinner than tekton. the chrome finish is better on the tekton. Both 90 tooth, tekton is 1/3 the price.

im happy with it coming from an older craftsman low tooth ratchet.

Thanks. The GW offerings are fairly new, so there aren't that many reviews. The question for me is, is slightly thinner worth the extra cost?

Upgraded my old 12 Volt MAX to the new Brushless. Just got the impact in so no review on that. I like the small size of this line, My old 3/8 had plenty of power and could reach into most areas.

Also picked up the New ICON 1/2 deep impacts with the 20% off they ran under 60 with tax. Very nice quality IMO. My only complaint would be spend less on the expensive packaging. Im glad to replace my old Craftsman set that was missing a couple sockets, always annoyed me using my Bonney chrome set on my impacts.

Like I need 10 sets of these, and old ones made in USA...but when they were $26.99 a set, on sale at Ace $9.99, and with $5.00 coupon...why not for $5.25 with tax?!?[emoji38]2d1cd8226af5ef9077f1f9df98527a73.jpg78514a88d1a42e58649398111579c32a.jpg

These things are sort of breaking my brain, but I want them somehow.

What are they called?

They're sometimes called flex head flare nut sockets, swivel flare nut sockets, or flare nut sockets, depends on who you ask. They might even have another name. They're a tool that probably won't be used often, but when needed they're worth having. I already used them to replace calipers, not needing them but I wanted to try them. I also have a PS hose that needs replacement that is a PIA to get to and this tool will do the trick, and I'll use it to tighten up the steering box as well.I'm sure I'll find other uses for them too.

Good stuff. You're gonna love those DeWalt 12V Xtreme units... I got the screwdriver and the impact wrench a few months ago, and they are an absolute pleasure to use.
