I have been looking for one of these since i lost mine 10 or so years ago. I picked up that one from walmart at least 15years ago and loved it. Finally saw one on ebay and snatched it up. Great tool.

I like the idea, neat and compact and has everything you need in one package. Glad you found a replacement.

Long overdue purchase. I've been hacking at connectors with the wrong tools for too long. Now I can do it right.

Turns out:

1) Auto repair shops no longer have these tools and refuse to work on older AC systems.
2) Chinese knockoffs are available at 1/3 the cost.
3) I can't stand Chinese knockoffs.

The electrical connection removal tool kit is great, where did you find it as I can use one myself. I am not sure what the other box contains, please educate me on the tool and what it's used for. Thanks!

Quick trip around the globe:

Wera 863T "Turbo" gear-assisted bit-handle.
View media item 105523
My thought was to replace the bit-handle in the KK62 pouch set with 863T, but as you can see above 863T is longer and thicker. It does not fit in the KK62 pouch.

Excelta flush cutters, one oval head and one bevel head. Scuttlebutt is these are Tronex-made, but they have a better grip than any Tronex I've seen online (never seen one in person). They seem at least as good Schmitz or Knipex. The jaw cover is a very nice touch.
View media item 105524View media item 105525(Bevel head has some debris from an overheated wire jacket on blade.)

If you're going to buy an obsoleted tool that you've never seen a need to own before, you should at least pick up the shiniest and most expensive of that type, right?

And back where we started: NOS Wera 1/4" drive AF socket set (with added sockets: 5/32" from Williams and 1/8" - actually 3.2mm - Stahlwille) with screwdriver bits including fractional hex.
View media item 105528View media item 105529
This set has a quality feel to the case, and often it's useful to have non-metric sockets handy. This Zyklop feels exactly like my other 1/4" Zyklop in terms of backdrag, so build consistency is better than Snapon et al. I'm not sure I've ever seen a fractional hex screw, but I'm sure they exist too.

Got some ratcheting wrenches by Armstrong from cripe distributing. I now have 11, 13, 14, 15 and 17 mm. New old stock at a great price.

Got a small Snap-On shipment in today. Nothing special. Replaced some crappy tools with better ones.

A 5/16 nut driver for hose clamps. I picked up a tekton to try out the handle since I’m planning on getting a set of torx drivers yet. It’s seems like a good tool but doesn’t fit my hand like I thought so probably going to go with Wera for those.

My driver told me yesterday that my 100th Anniversary ratchet set has been set aside for me... Congrats on yours, can’t wait to get mine in!

Thanks, it's a nice set. I wanted some of the ratchets with the "100" on them after seeing them in the 1/4" set and figured they would sell them soon. I did some digging and found the part number to order them online.

Cayman GT4? If it wasn't for the need of a back seat it's probably the route I would go. Guess I'll have to be ok with an old 996 turbo.

Beautiful car and I love that color. Enjoy

I like that. How do you like the green in home? I think it looks great in the store, but I wonder about looking at it every day.

I love it. I was torn between it and the orange. But so happy i did it. The lights for my powerstrip and battery is green so its fun to have the green lights when i walk through the garage

I think Green, Orange, and Yellow are all winners. Really, anything atypically bright is a nice change of pace. I do wish the 44s were offered in white though.

Just picked up the largest of the Blackhawk ratchet adapters, for a 3/4" breaker bar. It's an older one with a regular internal snap ring (later ones use a spiral ring) a simple dual pawl design, and very few teeth.
