Kind of sort of a tool.
Toyota has a cartridge oil filter set up. All new to me. Ordered the tool to pull the cartridge 2 weeks ago. Ordered this drain hose when I realized, the real deal need for it!
Anyway, packaging for this was unreal.
Hope it works as good as the packaging. [emoji23]

That's the type of box that I don't store the tool in but can't get myself to throw away but never actually find a use for the box and packaging. :lol_hitti

Why get a drain hose? I know you drain that oil filter cartridge before removing then cartridge, but the Toyota Oil filter comes with a small cheap drain plug you just push in. Maybe cheaper and/or different oil filter brands don’t come with that plug in it?

Partially complete SK Tools 1/4 set I picked up today and Utica 50-8 Linesman Pliers and Channellock 436’s I picked up over the past week for $1 each. Cleaned up nicely. Just acquired the missing 1/4” socket from Roy this morning so will put it in place when it arrived.

How much did you pay for the set of SK?

I added a little Snap-On goodness today. I originally bought a used 15” long 1/2” drive dual 80 and had my guy put a new handle on it. Well to me matching is important and the rest of my orange fixed head ratchets were the shorter length. Of course the longer ratchet could not stay. S-O guy traded me straight up for a brand new SH80A which is the short 1/2” drive ratchet. Not too shabby for a 75 dollar investment.

I had an old one of these... Ideal brand... battery exploded inside... damaging things. I tried fixing it... soldered in a new battery clip etc... but could not get it working...

NEW one works like a charm. Found out all my Garage Outlets are WIRED to the breaker labelled ... Garage Lights. At least they are GFCI...

I've been looking at this, I have the old version... I like that the transmitter doubles as a receptacle wiring tester too.

Big plus... the positive lights are GREEN. I have a few... one that I hate... the positive lights are RED and failure is yellow... WTF.

This worked more accurately than my old Ideal one too. I used to have to dial in the Ideal in addition to swiping all the breakers... this Klein... do a pass over all... then repass to nail the right breaker.

I really like the green lights.

I plan on getting the accessory adapters, for light build socket and non grounded and alligator plugs. If I ever need them... I will order them.

What do you think of the Astro 94404 spark plug set? Had the gearwrench version on my list after buying a 5/8 to try, but their set doesnt come with 13/16 which i use alot and I see this set does.

Hi woody6904,

I have yet to use the Astro spark plug set.

However, I do own the Gearwrench spark plug set with the 84 tooth bent handle ratchet. I also own individual Ko-ken spark plug sockets with the brass clips.

Out of the 3, I have used the Ko-ken and the 16mm socket. It was excellent in its use on changing the plugs on my former 2003 Subaru Forester.

This weekend, I will do a comparison all 3 makes. I will post the results and photos in a separate thread.

A while back I bought some Vessel power grip screwdrivers. I really took to them and decided to pick up some nut drivers, ball hex (purple handles), and torx versions (yellow handles). Very happy based on my initial impressions. All from Amazon Japan. Two day shipping and no duty charged.

This came today another Kline stripper pliers. K12065CR. Not sure what I think about these. The k12035 that I posted a few days ago would have been perfect if they had the crimp and no spring like these. But this pair the cutting edge is not as good and the stripper part seems less sharp. These do not strip at a angle like the 12035 do. Need more testing to see which I like better. How does Amazon japan work? Do you have to make a separate account?

had a rough time reading it even when translated.

I had to make a different account. There is an option to load the pages in English, but I find there are still a few bits that don’t translate. Overall I don’t find it difficult to use though. I also shop on Amazon.de for German tools. It’s not a guarantee the prices will be better, but in this case they were much cheaper than any domestic importer or even other Japanese stores. These ended up costing me around the same price per-driver as I would have paid for Husky screwdrivers at Home Depot. When I bought some Stahlville deep offset wrenches on amazon.de I saved almost $100 compared to Canadian retailers.

Whoa. These are nice!! I have some acetate handle Sun Flags as well for true JIS tips and they feel really cheap next to the Vessels. But yours look awesome!

I've had that Sunflag set for a few months, bought them last May from AMZN U.S. They're fine so far. Compared to my Vessels they're not quite as balanced as the Vessels but my Vessels are the non striking cap models (900 series).
